How Will You Make an Impact?
Performs general administrative duties for the Tax Department including, paper filed extensions, e-filing, logins/logouts, due date updates, scanning/scan flow/autoflow, engagement letters, prep couriers, mail, UPS, set-up new clients, and other responsibilities as needed.
Packages/Couriers: deliver incoming packages and prepare outgoing packages for drop off.
Kitchens: Stock and clean all kitchens daily.
Phone relief: primary back-up for the front desk (includes lunches, breaks, and when the receptionist is out of the office).
Manage building access utilizing the fob system and foster a good working relationship with building representatives.
Transcribes, types, and copies correspondence, reports, and memoranda from complex rough drafts, proofreads for accuracy, corrects grammar, and issues final documents.
Schedule regular and special meetings; prepares and distributes agendas, pre-meeting materials, records, and routes minutes as well as coordinates room, audio visual, and food arrangements.
How Will You Get Here?
College degree or equivalent related work experience in an executive support role, preferably in accounting or other professional services environment.
Experience working in a tax department - strongly preferred.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be prompt, dependable, and reliable.
Must possess excellent typing and grammatical skills.
Capable of maintaining strict confidentiality.
Ability to multi-task, work at a fast pace, and meet critical deadlines.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task while having strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A demonstrated aptitude for dealing with a variety of situations and people in a professional, yet personal manner required.
High degree of proficiency with business and communications software including Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a plus.
