Tax Accountant, Tax, International Tax Services (Transfer Pricing) (Senior) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Boston, MA.

Effectively apply complex transfer pricing concepts and economic/financial knowledge to client situations. Provide a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing, prepare documentation, defend transfer pricing in audits, and develop tax planning approaches.

Develop and deliver quality transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely and responsive services and work products. Prepare documentation, participate in advanced pricing agreements (APAs), defend transfer pricing in audits, lead in the valuation of intangible assets, and develop quality, practical planning services. Coordinate work with other client service team members Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds.

Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.

Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Tax, Accounting, Law or related field plus 2 years business advisory, transfer pricing, relevant business economic consulting or relevant federal/ International business tax consulting experience; OR a Master's degree in Economics, Tax, Accounting, Law or related field plus 1 year of business advisory, transfer pricing, relevant business economic consulting or relevant federal/ International business tax consulting experience.

Must have 1 year of experience in transfer pricing planning, documentation or controversy work projects, and preparation of APA documentation, at a mid-size/regional to large sized/national public accounting firm or law firm.

Must have 1 year of experience in economic modeling.

Must have 1 year of experience advising clients on technical aspects of transfer pricing, as well as experience with general business issues including: sharing, relating and communicating technical and business knowledge across clients without violating confidentiality.

Requires domestic or international travel up to 25%, to serve client needs.

As the Finance team scales, you will be tasked with executing and refining newly implemented controls, improving the month end process and related reconciliations, and assisting with all aspect of General Ledger maintenance. What you'll do as a Senior Tax Accountant: * Meet all informational tax reporting and withholding obligations timely and accurately * Own federal, state and international gaming and fantasy sports tax compliance obligations, partnering with compliance and product analytics as necessary * Devise protocols to ensure software is functioning as intended Perform detailed review of statues, regulations and case law as needed * Create and monitor mechanisms to ensure the Company's policies and procedures adherence * Coordinate the Company's Provisions for taxes (ASC 740 & ASC 450-20) * Partner with 3rd party tax compliance on Federal form 1120, FinCEN filings and S&LT * Draft memos to memorialize the Company's tax positions, suggesting changes if appropriate * Draft policies and procedures to support the Company's tax positions * Troubleshoot risk areas, working with tax advisors as needed * Develop models to estimate impact of policy changes What skills you will use: * A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting is preferred. * A Masters in Tax is preferred. * A CPA is preferred. * A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required. * Prior public accounting experience is preferred. * Prior experience in a public company is preferred. * Prior experience working in gaming, e-commerce and/or similar data rich tech environment is preferred. * A public/private mix is preferred.
