Tax Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial statement preparation, analysis, and general ledger reconciliation. Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and account analysis is essential for this role. We are not looking for Tax preparer.

Responsibilities: 1400 outstanding requests- positions requested to improve responsiveness time. Responding to requests using templates Min 3 years of experience is required Basic of understanding of what cost basis is and how it impacts end clients required Excel experience required- pivot tables, reporting and running data Understanding of short term vs. long term gains, understanding of market, corporate actions, mergers and options knowledge a plus STRONG TAX KNOWLEDGE (not filing taxes experience - tax laws) Cost basis a major Corporate Actions Mergers Handles internal and external client issues with expertise in tax and cost basis regulations. May advise other organizational units/teams to ensure timely delivery of service, or resolution of issue.

Leads efforts regarding new projects, regulations and business opportunities from a Global Tax Management perspective. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience specifically in reviewing and resolving complex tax issues in financial operations. Strong Excel and technical skills are required.
