Tax Accountant

Our client, renowned CPA firm, is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing tax payments and returns for the company. It is important to stay updated with changes to tax regulations and laws and ensure the company meets deadlines. Organizing and maintaining records of tax payments is a crucial part of the role. Additionally, you will need to recommend tax strategies that comply with laws and promote the company's financial well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax payments
• Estimate and track tax returns
• Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
• Organize and update the company's tax database
• Recommend tax strategies aligned with business goals
• Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
• Share financial data with the accounting department
• Identify tax savings opportunities
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes related to taxes
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors
• Provide tax predictions to senior managers

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarity with accounting software packages
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant subject preferred
• CPA Candidate / 150 Credits
• Masters Degree is a Bonus
• Prior Experience with Quickbooks is a bonus
