Responsible for the accurate preparation and timely filing of federal and state tax returns and estimates, assist in preparation of global tax provision, FIN 48, international compliance (5471, 8868), transfer pricing, and various tax projects.
Specific responsibilities include:
Prepare federal and state tax returns and associated estimated payments
Research and analyze federal and state technical issues for planning and responding to government audits
Prepare multi-state tax apportionment
Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, tax footnotes, and analysis of effective tax rates in accordance with ASC 740 and FIN 48
Prepare Form 5471 and 8868
Assist with preparation of transfer pricing
Maintain the global tax calendar
Prepare sales, use, personal property, and other local tax returns
Prepare tax account analysis and reconciliations
Responsible for coordinating company responses on US federal, foreign, state and local tax examinations.
Assist in various tax projects, as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
BS/BA in Accounting required (CPA preferred)
Position requires 0-1 years of tax experience, Big 4 accounting firm or equivalent corporate tax department experience is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and organization skills
Strong PC skills extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with tax software (OneSource) preferred
Experience with accounting software (Hyperion, Oracle) preferred
