Assist with Amphenol's federal, state and international income tax reporting
and compliance function.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with the preparation of Amphenol's federal and state tax returns,
estimates and extensions.
Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end tax provisions.
Assist with tax controversy matters, including responding to notices and
audit requests from various jurisdictions.
Coordinate filing of sales tax returns for Amphenol Corporation legal entity
with third party provider.
Assist in determining and implementing tax planning ideas.
Keep abreast of changes in tax laws through reading tax publications and
attending various tax seminars.
Generate and implement procedural improvements to current compliance
Maintain tax calendar.
Assist Vice President - Tax, and other Tax Department members with various
projects as assigned.
Two to five years corporate tax experience with experience in federal and
Bachelor's degree in accounting. An advanced degree (Tax) or CPA
certification is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of ONESOURCE Corporate Tax System a
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Highly organized self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
Ability to meet deadlines, working overtime when required.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. including:
Establishing and maintaining relationships with various accounting and
management personnel at HQ and at worldwide operations.
Develop position appropriate relationships with tax authorities
