Tax - 2025 Internship (Abq/Phx) IN Person

The Tax Seasonal Intern provides supportive assistance in the preparation of tax returns and other Tax related duties. In addition, the Tax Seasonal Intern may perform other tasks for other departments within the firm when time permits.

What you will be doing...

• Assist in the preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns prepared by the firm.

• Assists in work paper and special schedule preparation for tax examinations.

• Works with experienced tax staff to develop accounting skills.

• Assists with special projects.

• Assumes responsibility for completing all assigned areas fully.

What will set you apart...

• Knowledge of basic principles of taxation.

• The ability to obtain and deploy a working knowledge of research techniques and the various research sources in the firm library.

• Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Ability to learn new software programs quickly.

What you will need to succeed...

• Attained or be pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration or Finance.

• Minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a desire to learn and ability to follow direction.

• Within one year of being eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
