We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager of Marketing & Business Development - Support for Test Operations Center at ARFL, Edwards, AFB, CA.

ASRC Federal Space and Defense provides these services throughout all phases of the program life cycle and across the entire space systems architecture, including space and ground assets.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Marketing research & copywriting assistance.

  • Marketing collateral & development support, including B2B proposals.

  • Project cost estimating and budgeting.

  • Data entry & editing.

  • Report maintenance.

  • Test Area Schedule acquisition and entry support.

  • Calendar and meeting organization & support.

  • Thinks and works independently, yet shares ideas and works toward team goals of the AFRL.

  • Is able to express thoughts in a clear concise manner both orally and written; ability to communicate well in person, over the phone and through E-mail.

  • Ability to respond to changing business requirements and priorities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5 years relevant experience in marketing or executive assistance and office administration.

  • College Degree will count towards experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in coordination and oversight of executive calendar, correspondence, and various other administrative duties.

  • High School diploma.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Must have working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and MS Publisher.

  • Must have intermediate, hands on skills with Adobe Acrobat Pro/DC.

  • Good oral and written communication skills and analytical capabilities required.

  • Must be able to confidently present in front of large groups of people in various venues and settings.

  • Must be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI)/Security Clearance, as required.

  • Must have a valid CA driver's license.

  • Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to bend or stoop (50%).

  • Must be able to squat, reach above shoulder level, crouch, kneel, push, and pull (25%).

  • The ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds is required (25%).

Work Environment:

  • Inside office setting.

  • May have extended periods of time sitting in a chair.

  • May have extended periods when standing will be required in order to file documents.

Equipment and Machines:

  • Work requires regular use of typical office equipment such as a personal computer (20%), shredder (20%), copiers (20%) and fax machines (5%).

  • Work may also require being around moving machinery and equipment.

Attendance:

Attendance is critical at all times during normal duty hours. Work outside of normal duty hours may be required with as little as one hour advance notice.

Other Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) skills; able to understand and follow instructions.

  • Expected to be able to lift 25 lbs safely.

  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.

  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and demonstrate leadership that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.

The successful candidate will perform aircraft survivability analysis, operational employment analysis and Low Observable diagnostic testing/troubleshooting using support equipment and software tools to isolate anomalies and verify repairs. Provide threat system analysis, aircraft operations analysis, Low Observable system performance to include fleet signature health using diagnostic test equipment and analytical tools. Perform analysis on Low Observable data to identify component and system performance trends, identify component defects and identify potential areas of fleet-wide concern. Provide Subject Matter Expertise for Low Observable related studies, analysis, modeling and simulations. Participate in various process teams and ad hoc groups to develop Low Observable related system requirements, as well as operational employment plans and concepts. Basic Qualifications: * 2 years with Bachelors in Science; 0 years with Masters.
