About the Opportunity

DMI is seeking a Task Manager that will have responsibility and people management of programs supporting the DMI mission. Operational excellence will be a key to success for this position, ensuring that contractual commitments are met on time and on budget. This includes using metrics to anticipate and minimize risk to the program and the customer. The Task Manager will also be focused on delighting the customer, ensuring the best customer experience possible through direct interaction and by requiring that all program managers and employees do the same. The Task Manager will be heavily involved in business development activities. The Task Manager will hold regular program management reviews with his/her team and leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides full service task management duties to manage and oversee assigned contractors. Serve as a primary point of contact on TOs between contractor staff and the Government Task Monitor (GTM).

  • Performs contractor reviews and coordinates daily and long-range task requirements with the client's, as well as supports identification and selection of contractor staff.

  • Create project plan and schedule

  • Manage plan

  • Project Communications

  • T&M hours management

  • Work closely with Technical Lead

  • Develops DOJ services solutions and strategies.

  • Synthesizes DMI capabilities into offerings for the federal government.

  • Works collaboratively with the DMI operating units.


Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

  • 5-7 years of experience with government missions

  • 5-7 years of management and supervisory experience

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Experience in developing federal solutions and strategies.

  • Experience working in the operating units of a federal contracting company

  • Experience leading service delivery for multi-site programs.

Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • PMP certification

  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master)

  • SAFe certification

Additional Requirement(s): Should be able to get Public Trust clearance

He/She will be comfortable in the hunter selling role and will have the ability to identify, qualify, develop, and close new business directly with U.S. Federal Government, DoD departments, and agencies. He/She will work with Identiv’s Executive Management, Business Development, Product Management, Product Engineering, and Regional Sales Team to develop go to market strategies, competitive tactics, and effective new account penetration strategies. Likewise, the Federal Account Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining solid working relationships with Identiv’s partners, consultants, systems integrators, and dealers to bid, fulfill and install Identiv PACS and video systems. <br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Essential Functions include, but are not limited to, the following:</p> <p>● Develop and execute sales plan to meet and exceed assigned revenue objective for US Federal Government, Department of Defense, globally. </p> <p>● Direct sales engagement at headquarters level of all DoD departments, agencies and subagencies. </p> <p>● Map out all DoD departments, agencies and sub-agencies. Identify leadership, management and technical contacts responsible for Physical Access Control and video management systems.</p> <p> ● Develop and execute sales campaigns for each department and agency to include organizational research, opportunity identification, qualification, development and closure. </p> <p>● Manage relationship development at all levels – executive, management and technical. Secure commitment from economic and technical decision makers and influencers. </p> <p>● Leverage existing company, customer, influencer, and partner relationships to establish network within each department, agency and sub-agency. Cold call as required to establish key relationship gaps. ● Communicate the value and competitive advantages of Identiv products and services.
