Task Manager - FAA Data Collection & Analysis (Job Number:439918)
Task Manager Performs daily management of task order support operations, possibly involving multiple groups of personnel at multiple locations.
Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all task support activities.
Provide assessment services to the Flight Standards Service (FS) for identifying vulnerabilities associated with ASIs assigned oversight responsibilities for a single air carrier certificate for an extended period of time.
Gather and analyze regulatory performance and cultural information to produce gap analyses and, where possible, identify correlations across a range of variables that will lead to robust, systemic solutions to address existing or potential vulnerabilities.
Provide recommendation(s) for systemic solution- interventions that mitigate the risks caused by antecedent variables.
Provide recommendation(s) for revisions to FAA Flight Standards Service processes, tools, and/or assessments that will result in early detection and correction of identified gaps and precursors Task Manager will provide operational assessment support to the FAA Flight Standards Service (FS) in a collaborative environment with other individuals and teams within FS for identifying vulnerabilities associated with aviation operations field inspections.
Task Manager as part of the overall work to be accomplished will assess the following four domains of culture and performance:
Leadership creating and articulating clear direction for the team or office, especially with regard to consistent alignment of regulatory approaches and ideologies
Communication creating an environment of effective sharing of important relevant information about regulatory oversight and certificate management
Accountability individuals are committed to professional, objective regulatory oversight and certificate management and are accountable for results consistent with Compliance Oversight ideologies and processes
Performance Management integrating key targets and standards into organizational, team, and individual performance plans that align regulatory oversight approaches and ideologies
Will coordinate and manage work associated with this effort to include:
Identification of gaps and precursors that lead to vulnerabilities as described herein
Correlation of antecedent variables predictive of vulnerabilities
Recommendation(s) for systemic solution-interventions that mitigate the risks caused by antecedent variables
Recommendation(s) for revisions to FS processes, tools, and/or assessments that will result in early detection and correction of identified gaps and precursors.
