TAP Logistics Manager

Logistics Field Material Supply Operations Manager (located at Ft. Cavazos, TX) with function as the Operations and Sustainment Manager for all Team Armor Partnership (TAP) and Parts Technical Inspection (PTI) operations both CONUS and OCONUS in support of multiple market GM/VP programs.

Responsible for providing coordination for Parts Supply Services activities relating to supply chain management to include but not limited to material kitting, upgrade, retrofit, spare parts contracts, inventory management, delivery management, and repair and overhaul. Lead Research/analysis for inventory/data management providing input to proposal and ROF development for all supply components assigned to the Ft. Cavazos Site.

Site lead for supply IPT requirements. Functions as a primary point of contact for GDLS program, product and USG customers for all Abrams and Stryker supply projects. Advises, provides oversite, and facilitates career management for all TAP/PTI personnel supporting the USG. Reports to the FT Cavazos Logistics Projects Manager.

Position Requirements:

Twenty (20) or more years of experience working in logistics and familiar with Military Logistics terminology and processes;

Masters Degree required (preferably in related field), additional years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered;

Strong managerial skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor and develop teams;

Must have experience in using the Oracle data base system and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word and Power Point);

Familiar with M1 Abrams and M2 Bradley combat platforms;

Working knowledge of inventory management systems, technical manuals or directives;

Must be able to access military installation without restrictions and obtain a U.S. Passport and Common Access Card (CAC);

Excellent communication skills along with professional demeanor that extends to all levels of the organization to include our customers and management;

Must demonstrate ability to complete programs and projects;

Must be a U.S. citizen;
