The TSC Engagement Manager will also focus on strategizing community engagement plans, candidate experience and onboarding process improvement. The Role

  • Creates a vision, based upon data, for a team/business and develops scalable strategies that capture the best talent and most diverse candidates at the lowest cost

  • Manages the analyses of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of Workforce Staffing performance via Key Performance Indicators

  • Forecast and create staffing and investment strategies to build infrastructure and ensure team resource capabilities meet business demand

  • Evolves and implements labor acquisition strategies inclusive of employee class recommendations, labor pool utilization, talent pool conversion and other channel resources across different Amazon businesses

  • Partners with regional operations and Finance management and workflow teams to optimize labor requirements

  • Influences and makes recommendations to key stakeholders and decision makers on building appropriate systems processes, and reports; is sought after for input on key decisions and influence to stakeholders

  • Leads and drives projects, of increasing scale and complexity, and manages programs through completion.

  • Fosters strong partnership with optimization leader to ensure pipeline creation activities meet the demand

  • Accountable to ensure the sourcing plans meet the demand effectively at optimal cost

  • Sets KPI's benchmarks, metrics, and understands how to prioritize to meet and exceed all business SLAs

  • Owns training, development, team culture and morale for Workforce Staffing Engagement Team

  • Builds resource plans and calendars to execute community engagement and hiring activities

Expected Deliverables

  • Manage and own cost per hire budgets through oversight of labor acquisition, advertising and other talent acquisition costs

  • Manage and build strategies to optimize candidate cycle time, conversion rates and applicant funnel metrics to benchmark

  • Build and foster community engagement and sourcing strategies and demonstrate through data return on investment

  • Exceed associate experience service levels and KPI's measured by hiring activity results and defect reduction

  • Dive deep into stakeholder NPS survey results and create action plans to address detractors

  • Have development discussions and provide detailed feedback to direct reports on performance and growth plans

The Project Manager manages, develops, and implements Power Generation project(s) of varying complexity and size in and assigned functional area. Partners with business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion. In this role you will lead multiple projects from inception to completion; facilitate project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project; work with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals; design project plan, develop timeline, identify project milestones, and track performance. Key responsibilities for this San Leandro, CA-based Power Generation Project Manager: * Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues. * Monitors and communicates project status to project team. * Plans and monitors project budget, conducts research and analysis; provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelines. * Manages project risk; uses quality tools to identify areas of risk; works with others on the team and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutions. * Documents and shares team learning's with other teams; draws on other project team experiences to enhance the success of the project. * Maintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments. * Identifies and assigns appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks; guides and coaches team members through various stages of the project; provides developmental feedback to team members. Experience, Education, Licenses, and Certifications: * Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required. * Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred, or extensive experience in Power Generation implementation or design required. * Candidate must demonstrate strong technical capability. * Works with a team to meet metrics including financial, customer satisfaction, schedules, accuracy, and efficiency. * Knowledge of power generation products, ability to interface with Contractors, Consulting Engineers, Vendors, knowledge of codes, and strong research capabilities. * Candidate needs to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Must possess strong organizational and planning skills and be capable of multitasking on a variety of complex tasks. * Must be data and process orientated/driven. * Must be tenacious and engage issues all the way through resolution by tapping into any resources required. * Must be able to work in a team environment with Sales, Production, Purchasing, Project Administration, and Service teams. * Must possess a good base understanding of project financials.
