We're looking for a smart, candidate-obsessed innovator! As our Sourcing Specialist, you will join our recruitment team and be tasked with enhancing our organization's ability to identify, attract, and assess candidates to build a network of top talent for hire. The Sourcing Specialist will act as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques and tools used for information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, continuous process improvement, and process automation. This role will also take responsibility for tracking industry events, technology trends, and changes within the employment landscape which may impact our sourcing needs. You are a data-driven, left-brained hunter who can operate efficiently and effectively even with high-volume requisition counts and thrive in a start-up, gritty environment.
Source candidates by reviewing resumes and social profiles for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to role requirements
Research and proactively identify and analyze market trends
Leverage knowledge and technologies to actively research, develop, and implement sourcing strategies that drive engagement with diverse talent
Identify new candidate channels to assess and prioritize program needs based on business requirements and develop the business case for new initiatives
Track candidate information by measuring conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired - you love some good data!
Serve as a brand guardian, evangelizing GTI's unique employment message and ensuring its consistent execution and delivery to every candidate
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
3+ years' experience in sourcing/recruitment with focus in pipeline building, talent intelligence and research
Strong understanding of Boolean logic and talent acquisition systems (LinkedIn, job boards, etc)
Data centric and highly organized with experience using data and metrics to advise and make recommendations
Proven ability to be solutions-oriented
Passionate advocate for candidate experience; constantly thinks about how to improve the experience for candidates within a high-volume hiring environment
Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness
Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment
Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information
Must pass all required background checks
Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
