Roles & Responsibilities:

The Talent Sourcer will support Recruiters by identifying and attracting best in class candidates. The Talent Sourcer will utilize social networking sites, attend job fairs, champion open houses, network etcto identify potential qualified candidates that meet the needs of hiring departments. Focus will be on sourcing for similar-type job class positions and hard-to-fill roles.

  • Generates high quality candidates for assigned openings

  • Actively mines Taleo and other online job sites to generate resumes to ensure potential candidates meet requirements

  • Uses databases, Boolean searches, LinkedIn and other social media networks to create a rich talent pipeline for hard to fill, niche, similar type jobs, aged or other key strategic positions

  • Conduct preliminary screenings to qualify candidates identified through research for fit, qualifications and interest in position and present viable candidates to recruiter and/or hiring manager

  • Maintain talent pool of passive candidates to reduce sourcing times on future searches

  • Update Taleo with status of candidates screened

  • Provide support to department regarding onboarding new candidates and fill - in when necessary

Requirements:

  • Education: HS/GED required, Associate's/Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Experience: 1 year or relevant HR experience

  • ATS Data Base experience

  • Proven written and oral communication skills

  • Proven Customer Service Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task

  • Ability to understand the needs of hiring departments

Roles & Responsibilities: The Administrative Coordinator will responsible for the administrative and office service activities such as purchasing, payroll, records control and human resources for the Human Resources Department within the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. This role reports to the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty, Staff & Trainee Relations and will also provide support to other members of HR Leadership. Specific duties are listed below. * Answers routine and specific inquiries when possible. Directs inquiries, when necessary, to the appropriate department or individual for further information and/or resolution. * Calendar management. * Assists with tracking of investigations. * Assists in maintaining and monitoring the budget and grant allocations. Prepares documents required to maintain balanced accounts for review and approval. * Initiates and follows through on human resources and payroll transactions. Generates weekly payroll submission. Maintains liaison with human resources and payroll to coordinate and resolve issues and problems. * Ensures adequate restock of supplies for department. Takes inventory or examines merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished. Requisitions merchandise from supplier and collaborates with Purchasing to secure the best pricing for equipment and supplies. * Tracks expiration of vendors' contracts and renews as needed. Assists in the planning and logistical arrangements for forums, conferences, seminars, meetings and/or visiting professorships. Assist in the development and coordination of informational packets for participants. Transcribes and distributes minutes. * Develops, updates and/or revises informational flyers, brochures, leaflets and mailings. * Researches, locates and compiles information for reports. Assembles and categorizes figures for computation and calculations. Prepares statistical reports. * Checks materials submitted for supervisor's attention to ensure all relevant data, authorizations and pertinent information are included. * May assist supervisor with the completion of grant applications, special projects and JCAHO and other survey preparations. * Mentors, trains and/or conducts orientation for new office support staff and monitors performance. * Coordinates administrative, secretarial and/or general office support coverage. * Performs other related duties. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. I.e. HS/GED diploma plus seven years of experience. * 5 years related administrative or business experience required. Some supervisory experience preferred. * Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality in verbal and written communications.
