Job Description

The candidate for this role of Talent Research Manager should exemplify a deep understanding of and interest in the talent space and the impact HR and organizational design has on companies across multiple industries with a focus on emerging future of work research topics. Candidates coming from academia will be considered a plus.

The Talent Research Manager would help design and execute research projects working with others across Accenture Research, even outside North America, and clients. The candidate would also influence key internal stakeholders and decision-makers by providing actionable insights related to our talent research agenda.

Accenture Research and the leadership of the Talent & Organization Practice have been working closely together to design and execute a world-class research agenda to help C-suite executives make better talent decisions while also positioning Accenture as an undisputed thought-leader on workforce topics. Our latest research projects include creating a ground-breaking model on how the C-suite can leave people Net Better Off, bringing to make a perspective on how to elevate workforce strategy in the boardroom and most recently how to ensure people have the right digital environments to accelerate their adoption of digital skills. The fundamental starting point for all our research projects is, how do we unlock human ingenuity?

Specifically, the Talent Researcher Manager will:

  • Go-to subject matter expert related to change management, workforce transformation and a deep understanding of what it takes to unlock human potential in today's dynamic environments

  • Collaborate in raising awareness and understanding of talent-related research tools, surveys, and outputs in Accenture and Accenture Research and continuously interact and collaborate with Accenture and external experts on the topic of talent.

  • Present our research to our stakeholders to generate interest in our topics and help bring our latest thinking into client opportunities, including presenting on talent topics at external events

  • Partner with members of the Talent and Organization Leadership team to understand the pipeline of research needs, ensure the appropriate resources from the research team are focused on priority projects, manage the pipeline, taking responsibility any resourcing issues, ensuring quality and seamless communications throughout

  • Seek out opportunities to constantly innovate, create and invent new ways to enhance what research brings to the Innovation Hubs and to apply the best, most unique advances in research.

  • To integrate value-adding research skills related to Design Thinking to most effectively co-create with clients and other partners of the Innovation Architecture (see a description of Accenture's Innovation Architecture as listed below)

  • Serve as an ambassador and advocate for Accenture Research talent topics both internally and externally, including the appropriate use of social media

Preferred Skills: * Any additional certificates related to people analytics or data science would be a plus but not required. * At least a post-graduate degree, with solid evidence of research experience.
