Job Summary:

The Talent & OD Coordinator will play an essential role in ensuring smooth operations for the Talent Management (TM) and Organizational Development (OD) team. The Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the Sr. Director in all aspects of managing the daily responsibilities of the team, including implementing and maintaining effective programs, policies, and procedures to help the TM and OD team achieve its objectives. This position requires discretion, good judgment, and a high degree of confidentiality. The Coordinator will work with employees at all levels within the enterprise, requiring strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sr. Director by creating draft communications for all promotional and informational communications for core processes and various platforms (email, websites, newsletters, and social media.

  • Liaise with Internal Communications department to deploy enterprise-wide communications.

  • Works with the Manager- Talent & OD to coordinate communications strategies for Culture and Change Management, including memos, intranet site, and Teams channels.

  • Monitors social media and online platforms, including postings for Sr. Director.

  • Partners with Talent Analyst on preparing all documents for Talent Review twice a year.

  • Prepares reports requested (Workday/excel).

  • Assist the Sr. Direct Talent & OD with meeting presentation development.

  • Support the Sr. Director with all calendar management, invoices, vendor approvals, technology approvals/requests.

  • Coordinate with Executive Assistants on scheduling core process required meetings, Talent, Learning, Change and Culture and departmental events (Town Hall, CEO & Leadership events).

  • Coordinate Talent & OD team/HR overall calendar and seeking annual updates in October and periodic revisions as needed.

  • Ensure Talent & OD files are accessible and logic flow is mapped for reference.

  • May serve as liaison/coordinator for special projects or workgroups.

  • Support testing of Learning & Development and HR Workday applications and help facilitate online meetings. Act in the role of "executive producer" for Teams meetings for large group and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Provide support to departmental areas as needed.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.

  • Bachelor degree in communications, HR, or related field preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum three (3) years' experience working in Human Resources or related field.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present information in terms easily understandable to others outside the HR field.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Basic understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures is preferred but not required.

  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and personal maturity are essential.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills.

  • Demonstrated experience exhibiting discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Flexibility working with leadership and across all levels of the enterprise.

  • Strong ability with influencing and communication campaigns for internal program launches and core processes.

  • Excellent computer software skills, including high-level proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with HRIS systems.

Salary Range:

$61,200 - $81,900

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
