What You'll Be Doing:

  • Developing and implementing a robust performance management strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Leading the design and execution of performance management frameworks, including goal setting, performance reviews, and continuous feedback mechanisms.

  • Overseeing the creation and maintenance of objectives and key results (OKRs) for performance.

  • Ensuring performance reviews are conducted consistently and fairly across the organization.

  • Providing coaching and guidance to managers and key leaders on effective performance management practices.

  • Developing and delivering training programs to enhance the capability of managers and employees in managing performance.

  • Driving alignment of performance evaluation and compensation to ensure fairness and consistency.

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the performance management system.

  • Analyzing performance data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

  • Preparing and presenting reports to senior leadership on performance management outcomes, contributing to strategic planning.

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to performance management.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in performance management or a related HR field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing performance management systems.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.

The Team You'll Be A Part Of:

Reporting to the VP of Talent, the Sr. Director, Talent Performance will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive performance management systems to ensure alignment with Synopsys's strategic objectives. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership, developing metrics, and driving a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $184,000-$230,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
