Job Description: Arconic is currently in search of a Talent Management Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Pittsburgh, PA.

The Talent Management Specialist works within the Talent Management Center of Excellence and reports to the Director of Careers, Talent Planning & Performance Management. This position is focused on activities related to the organization, coordination, execution and delivery of projects supporting Careers, Talent Planning & Performance Management.

The Talent Management Specialist collaborates with all members of the Talent Management CoE, and will interface significantly with HR Business Partners to receive input, feedback, and share details about solutions, offerings and project deliverables.

The Talent Management CoE is responsible for integrated processes and practices designed to attract, develop, engage and retain the best talent to support a sustainable competitive advantage. Ensuring that the right people are in the right seats, doing the right things at the right time, now and in the future, to maximize business outcomes. Major activities:

  • Coordinate and execute agreed upon Careers, Talent Planning & Performance Management deliverables as assigned by the Director related to implementation of critical Talent Management CoE initiatives and projects, including careers, talent planning, talent reviews, succession planning, assignments, rewards and recognition programs, performance development, and competencies.

  • Monitor, track and update defined project plans to report project status, risks and completion requirements. This may include monitoring and coordinating communication and schedules with internal and external providers.

  • Monitor, track and update project-related budget activities.

  • Compile and produce informative and educational materials. Coordinate across departments and with external vendors to complete associated production and distribution tasks.

  • Align tools and processes with HR technology to provide access and ease of use across internal customer base.

Key Challenges:

  • Manage multiple deliverables with concurrent deadlines.

  • Write project plans and communication and education materials for internal customers.

  • Deliver solutions to a global audience.

  • Work with Arconic business leaders in multiple time zones and languages.

  • Coordinate program execution with internal team and stakeholders and external vendors.

  • Manage execution and evaluation data using multiple systems and non-integrated tools.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum 2 years' prior work experience in Talent Management or Human Resources in a corporate environment.

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year prior work experience in human resources related to careers, talent planning, workforce management, or performance management.

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

  • Talent Management or Human Resource experience in a global corporate environment.

  • Advanced certifications and coursework in adult learning methodology, assessments, or curriculum design.

  • Facilitation skills, decision making, project and time management.

  • Experience creating and managing Share Point sites or similar document management tools.
