The Talent Management Project Specialist helps champion the development of team members and leaders across the organization. The Specialist will spend fifty percent of their time focused on project management responsibilities for strategic, organization-wide initiatives and the remaining fifty percent of their time focused on supporting the execution of organization-wide projects that fall within the purview of the Talent Management team.   • College degree required

  • 1-2 years of project or program management experience

  • Strong written/verbal communication and facilitation skills for communicating at all levels

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Good consultative, customer focus & service skills

  • Experience networking with high level business partners.

  • Politically savvy

  • Handles ambiguity well actually thrives in it

  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

  • Has ability to work independently with minimal supervision or direction

  • Ability to handle multiple and competing priorities

  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) & Sunrise applications with the ability to learn new applications

Essential Duties:

  • Project Management for Strategic Initiatives This position will be integral to strategic initiative project management and ensure project launch timelines are met. This includes ensuring proper methods are followed to track project schedules, assessing feedback, monitoring timelines, trends, and adoption. This position will work and learn alongside the implementation team(s) and Organizational Development & Talent Strategy team, to support various projects the Specialist is assigned. The Specialist will provide proactive project management methodologies including:

  • Assisting in ensuring project/implementation team is organized and staying on-track to meet deadlines/expectations

  • Scheduling, preparing for meetings, providing detailed meeting re-caps to the implementation team(s).

  • Engaging appropriate stakeholders in risk identification and mitigation

  • Acting as an internal advocate for the project

  • Being accountable for understanding business objectives and how the projects/programs support these objectives

  • Adapting and responding to changes both inside and outside the project(s)

  • Maintaining effective relationships and communication with stakeholders and project team members

  • Producing reports and dashboards, when applicable, to keep key stakeholders and team informed

  • Talent Management Projects Partner with the Organizational Development & Talent Strategy team and the broader Talent Management team to support development programs that target knowledge & skills enhancement and competency development for Team Members. This may include, but is not limited to projects that focus on strengthening retention and engagement strategies, such as learning, orientation and onboarding, talent analytics, competency modeling, success profiling, job descriptions, skills gap analysis, team development, career pathing, internships, performance management, individual development plans, etc.. Contribute to projects that further the development of the skills and capabilities required of our Team Members to support a high-performing organization
