The Internship Program at Greif targets undergraduate students, typically between their Junior and Senior year and is 8-12 weeks in length depending on the needs of the department and/or intern. To encourage networking, relationship building and organizational learning, we will host a number of internship events over the course of the program including, but not limited to educational roundtables, plant tours and philanthropic activities. Interns will also have the opportunity to interact with and present to Greif's Executive Leadership Team.

The Talent Management Intern will report to the Director of Talent Management and work closely with other HR groups including our HR Operations team, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Communications and colleagues across the business.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting current talent initiatives and program development needs across all phases of the Talent Lifecyle Attraction and Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning & Development and Engagement and Retention.

  • Preparing training materials and the communications required to support Talent Management initiatives.

  • Coordinating content updates and marketing opportunities related to our internal Learning Management System.

  • Documenting talent programs and global business processes, as needed.

  • Researching and compiling information for special assignments.

  • Scheduling meetings, taking notes during meetings/conference calls and distributing documents to project teams.

  • Providing support to additional HR functional areas, to include performing a variety of administrative tasks, as necessary.

  • This position is for any student pursuing bachelor's degree in a related field with a junior or senior status.
