The Talent Management Consultant is responsible for proactively working with our business leaders to align Talent Management services with their business objectives. The successful Talent Management Consultant assesses and anticipates HR-related needs for the business units and seeks to develop integrated solutions by partnering across the Talent Management function. The Talent Management Consultant serves as a consultant to leaders on talent management related issues, such as employee relations, organizational structure, culture, policy, retention, etc. The Talent Management Consultant also acts as a resource to employees for on-boarding, benefits, pay, career development, policy, and addresses employee concerns.

Work Hours: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)

Education: College degree in HR or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 5+ years human resources experience as a generalist or similar role (must have experience handling employee relations).

  • Good understanding of employment laws and regulations, compliance issues, work comp, compensation structure and benefits administration.

  • Proficient in PC applications to include windows bases software such as Word, Excel, Access / Power Point.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Good problem solving skills.

  • Ability to work with people on a daily basis and of diverse backgrounds.

  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

The Talent Development Consultant supports Talent Management partners, business leaders and their teams. This role also manages companywide projects, programs, and initiatives that drive positive and meaningful team member experiences. As part of the talent development team within the overall TM structure, this person may play an active role in learning effectiveness, professional development, change management, and development planning. Above all, we look for team members who possess positive energy, have a growth mindset, are able to be agile, and are creative thinkers. Key responsibilities of this role include: * Consult on change management and team dynamic initiatives within business lines * Responsible for selection and implementation of vendors, and content design for various development programs * Design and facilitate learning experiences both inside and outside of a classroom environment * Consult with business lines and leverage talent data to identify needs and recommend solutions that drive key initiatives * Share tools and resources with business lines to support the creation of annual people plans and individual development plans * Facilitate annual Talent Map sessions * Evaluate trends on annual Employee Engagement Survey and assist with action planning process within business lines * Administer and interpret appropriate development assessments (ex. 360 multi-rater or self-assessment) Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years' broad-based experience in organizational/talent/leadership development, culture sustainability or employee experience. Professional certifications in MBTI, DiSC, Situational Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Crucial Conversations, Senn Delaney, Korn Ferry, etc. preferred. Solid ability to partner with business lines and within Talent Management to design and implement solutions that help teams achieve results. Advanced understanding in and practical application of talent/ organizational development, learning, culture sustainability, and/or employee experience best practices, tools, and processes. Ability to effectively manage a variety of projects; including medium to large projects with a moderate level of complexity, without sacrificing quality. Solid ability to consult, leverage talent data, ask questions, and offer solutions. Agile and flexible in response to changing business and stakeholder needs. Position may be filled in Kansas City or St. Louis. The majority of the Talent Development team is based in St. Louis, experience and success working as a remote employee is required if the position is filled in Kansas City.
