Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Talent Management Consultant reporting to the Director of Talent Management. This is NOT a Talent Acquisition/Recruitment role. The AHS Talent Management team is a group of leadership, learning, and organizational development specialists partnering to develop and deliver talent strategies that support AHS's system-wide goals.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

The TM Consultant is a subject matter expert that acts autonomously within the guidelines set forth by the Director and will identify, manage and implement various talent initiatives. Through consulting, coaching, and partnering the TM Consultant will design and execute high-impact talent management and org effectiveness initiatives across the system. Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic internal consultant that serves as a SME and advisor to leadership and HR in all areas of talent management

  • Manage, coordinate, and implement various processes within talent management such as, (but not limited to): Performance Management, Talent and Succession Planning, multi-rater feedback, New Leader Assimilation, Executive coaching, and Team Effectiveness

  • End-to-end process/program owner of performance management and succession planning. Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance through partnerships across HR and various businesses

  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and business leaders to diagnose business needs and create/identify optimal solutions and programs

  • Conducts needs assessments around talent and organizational development and is responsible for recommending solutions to stakeholders

  • Partners with HRIS to run reports, gather data and capture insights that will impact the design and implementation of performance, succession, and other programs

  • Maintain external visibility to development and industry trends, engage in external networks and access external expertise where necessary to be able to provide support and advice to the broader HR community and business lines

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related discipline.

  • 5+ years of relevant professional level experience in Talent Management and / or Organizational Development

  • Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of OD and leadership interventions

  • Experienced practitioner of behavior, personality, psychometric, self and skills assessment tools (e.g. CliftonStrengths, DISC, Insights Discovery, MBTI, TKI, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of best practices in individual and organization assessment, employee engagement, facilitation, and group dynamics, etc.

  • Knowledge of and ability to perform needs assessment (analysis) with a variety of variables in situations where limited foundation/framework exists. This includes the ability to survey, interview, collect, and analyze data to identify training and non-training needs

  • Self-starter that can work independently, yet collaboratively in a team environment

  • Service and results oriented with outstanding communication, facilitation, and critical thinking skills

  • Strong engagement and consulting skills; ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in a matrixed environment

  • Creative "big picture" thinking while maintaining keen attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree

  • Formal coaching education and experience

  • Experience with SuccessFactors TM suite

  • Previous experience in healthcare industry

  • Industry certification e.g. ACTP, TMCP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP,

As a TM intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your education to active initiatives. Responsibilities The TM intern will primarily work with the Instructional design team to assess, develop, and deliver solutions to be leveraged across the system. You will be a highly organized and innovative individual that will contribute to the creation of curriculum and tools focused on team member development. Responsibilities include: * Assist in the generation of content, design, review and implementation of learning modules, presentations, and training materials * Design, maintain and organize internal portals and team documents online (e.g. SharePoint) * Facilitate portions of existing instructor-led learning courses * Provide support for other talent management initiatives as identified (e.g. onboarding) * Recommend instructional approaches and solutions * Evaluate instruction, programs and processes * Participate in TM and cross-HR meetings * Provide support to or for AHS community and wellness activities Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements: * Rising college junior, senior or graduate student currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Human Resource Development, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Learning or related area * Experience communicating effectively by visual, oral and written form with individuals, small groups and large audiences * Enthusiastic collaborator with a strong desire to create and the ability to work independently as applicable * Advanced user of Microsoft office suite and other business software Preferred Qualifications: * Previous internship or work experience * Experience with authoring tools (e.g. Captivate) Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time in an accredited public or private college or university in the United States or its territories, as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. All applicants must: * Be in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or greater. * Demonstrate a committed interest to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. * Recent high school graduate (2019 or less than 6 months since graduation) or student at an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor's degree. * Be a documented U.S. citizen or permanent resident in possession of an alien registration receipt card (I-551) or other legal document of such status at the time of application.
