Summary:

As a key member the PEO HR Leadership team, the Talent Manager Business Partner (TMBP) serves as a trusted advisor and partner to the PEO organization. The TMBP executes organizational talent strategies that promote a culture of continuous feedback and contribute to high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction. This role will help create a high-performing organization that aligns with organizational goals. In addition, this role will be responsible for employee events and internal communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Builds trusted, consultative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

  • Partners with PEO business leaders on talent mapping, succession planning, and career progression.

  • Provides guidance to management on business decisions related to employees, leadership, and management effectiveness.

  • Works to design PEO organizational structures and clearly define responsibilities for each role/job.

  • Manages promotion process to ensure readiness and adherence to organization structure.

  • Responsible for delivering assessment programs and creating development plans including Leadership Development programs, Mentoring programs and Emerging Leader programs.

  • Coordinates with PEO HR Operations Manager on acquisition activity. Responsibilities to include role mapping, title alignment, and structural architecture. Partners with newly acquired leaders on talent management initiatives, learning and training programs, development, and assimilation to company culture.

  • Fosters a culture of continuous feedback by promoting best practices and strategies in L&D, communications, employee engagement.

  • Leads strategy, design, and delivery for employee engagement initiatives including employee events.

  • Coordinates Kudos engagement program to ensure full utilization and value.

  • Responsible for developing and executing an effective Internal Communications program to support the PEO Culture and reinforce corporate initiatives in collaboration with corporate internal communications team.

  • Collaborates with the team to develop communication and change management plans in support of organizational development.

  • Works proactively and collaboratively to resolve issues with a "servant leadership" mind-set.

  • Tracks and reports Talent Management KPIs, goals, metrics.

  • Delivers job specific Learning and Training.

  • Works collaboratively with corporate Talent Management, L&D, Compensation, and Communications team to support and implement talent best practices, processes and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Knowledge of principles and practices of human resource and talent management

  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with others of all levels

  • Ability to garner immediate trust and respect through a consultative and collaborative approach to their work

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritizes, and coordinate support between Corporate, business unit, and field

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Hybrid role with 2-3 days/week in Dallas, Phoenix, Chicago, or Atlanta with 10-15% domestic travel expectations.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Talent Management or Human Resource role, required; 7+ years' preferred

  • Bachelor's degree, required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, required

  • Experience with Workday HRIS, highly preferred

  • PHR certification, a plus

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
