As a key member of Mission Systems HR Management team, she/he will design and deliver innovative Learning and Development, Performance and Career Management, and Organizational Development solutions to support a Talent Management strategy focused on ensuring a high-engagement and innovative culture, and proactively addressing business needs. In addition, this role will provide a range of HR project management support with a focus on diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, HR compliance, and total rewards. This position will also provide HR business partner support assigned client groups.
Partner and build relationships with HR and business leaders to develop and implement best-in-class programs and services to meet business needs including: gaining knowledge of specific work scenarios requiring skill and knowledge development to enhance performance; identifying top talent and high potential employees to accelerate leadership development; and preparing employees for roles of greater responsibility.
Coach and guide a small team of HR professionals
Provide high quality internal consulting to identify gaps and opportunities for development and design and execute programs/experiences to build critical capabilities and foster a culture of high-engagement, innovation and continuous improvement
Participate in needs analysis, outlining operational requirements and translating requirements into tangible talent management programs
Design, coordinate, administer, facilitate and deliver company-wide L&D solutions (FUEL, Rotational programs, UTC development programs, etc.)
Manage US intern/co-op programs
Support employee engagement survey efforts including analyzing and presenting data, collaborating with HR and business leaders to create actionable insights for leaders to improve business results, and utilizing pulse surveys
Build and maintain effective working relationships with vendor partners in support of best-in-class, cost-effective, enterprise-wide development solutions
Lead Mission Systems-wide HR projects including annual salary review, benefit enrollment process, employee engagement, culture initiatives, and AIM implementation, etc.
Remain current with Talent Management practices and developments including technologies, industry trends and innovations
8+ years of relevant HR experience in communications, change management and/or a business partner or generalist role
Strong experience working with senior leadership to communicate and implement HR programs to support the business goals.
Must be business minded and demonstrate an understanding of how to plan for and effectively manage change initiatives
Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, strong teaming orientation and high adaptability.
Prior demonstrated experience with ACE/Continuous Improvement tools is a plus.
Prior change management/change leadership experience a plus
Bachelor's degree in business, communications, human resources or related area of study
Master's degree is preferred
