We are hiring a Talent Development Manager. The Talent Development Manager will lead and promote the Company's philosophy through training & development, orientation, and onboarding programs that align, motivate, develop, and engage employees in support of business goals and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring all managers receive management training in alignment with Korn Ferry's Leadership competencies.

  • Responsible for scheduling and delivering training to employees in a variety of topics, with a focus on individual contributors.

  • Work with department leaders and HRBP's to create meaningful development plans for high potential employees and critical roles with periodic execution status checks.

  • Responsible for identifying talent capability gaps and creating learning to support leadership growth and relay this information back to HRBP's and Manager's for employee development.

  • Develop and evolve the new hire training program/orientation.

  • Implement and deliver new hire training, including welcoming new employees, answering questions and collaborating with SME's.

  • Work with Quality to establish qualifications for trainers in each department.

  • Work with Document Control to assess SOP and assign to job codes as necessary to provide relevant training.

  • Responsible for all talent development administrative work including, training requirements, Korn Ferry 360, scheduling training, preparing training documents, entering training records, etc.

  • Coordinating and/or conducting HR related and other training as needed by the HR department.

  • Consistently remain knowledgeable of current best practices and organizational culture in order to deliver effective employee training programs.

  • Develop, coordinate, and conduct training as needed.

  • Establish and work within budget.

Required Skills/Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in HR or related field.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a training and development capacity.

  • Creation/development of training programs.

  • Facilitating discussions and training.

  • Knowledge of federal and CA labor laws as they pertain to required training.

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, both in person and virtual.

  • Ability to identify the training needs of the organization and recognize where improvements can be made.

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to think quickly in response to questions being asked during training.

  • Ability to collaborate with staff, trainees, and organization leaders.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams meetings, breakout rooms or similar and other training content development software.

  • Ability to speak and read English.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

Salary and Benefits:

  • For California, the base salary range for this position is $85,876 to $111,935 annually. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
