We are seeking a highly strategic, driven, and analytical specialist to join our Global Learning and Talent Management team to support our PMO/Talent Analytics function. We strive to use data-driven insights to help drive the company's talent strategy and programs. The successful candidate will provide the expertise to help us transform the way data is used to optimize our HR talent strategies, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, and performance management.
You will play a key role in responding to data requests from key stakeholders, developing tools, identifying strategies, and implementing processes that help the talent team access, understand and use data to make decisions.
Design tools, run analyses, automate reports, and create presentations to ensure the right data gets to the right stakeholder(s) at the right time.
Use data to "tell the story" about our talent.
Partner in creating a vision and talent data roadmap.
Translate talent management and business issues into questions and hypotheses that can be understood and tested with data.
Utilize employee engagement, recognition, and HRIS platforms to collect feedback and data to generate insights (PeopleSoft, Taleo, Quantum, SumTotal, and others).
Conduct in-depth data analysis and modeling, and use/translate that data to glean insights and tell a compelling story.
Collaborate with subject matter experts across our Talent team and the broader Syneos Health organization
Leverage tools, such PowerBI and Excel, to drive efficient insights.
Communicate findings to management via presentations, on a periodic/ quarterly/ annual basis.
Conduct and prep analysis for cyclical talent initiatives such as performance management and compensation planning.
Partner with IT and HR Systems to improve operating efficiencies/effectiveness and work with internal teams to automate or streamline data collection processes.
Build dashboards and other tools that will help stakeholders understand how things are going and when they need to take action (quarterly organizational health check reports).

BA/BS degree, Masters preferred (Data Science, Information Management, I/O Psychology, HR, Computer Science, Math/Statistics, or other related field)
1 to 2 years of experience developing reports and data visualizations
Analytical and data driven - prefer experience in at least some of the following areas: SQL/relational databases, basic inferential statistics, and research methods (correlations, regressions, t-tests, research design)
Story telling through data
Strong Project Management Skills.
