We are seeking a highly strategic, driven, and analytical specialist to join our Global Learning and Talent Management team to support our PMO/Talent Analytics function. We strive to use data-driven insights to help drive the company's talent strategy and programs. The successful candidate will provide the expertise to help us transform the way data is used to optimize our HR talent strategies, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, and performance management.

You will play a key role in responding to data requests from key stakeholders, developing tools, identifying strategies, and implementing processes that help the talent team access, understand and use data to make decisions.


  • Design tools, run analyses, automate reports, and create presentations to ensure the right data gets to the right stakeholder(s) at the right time.

  • Use data to "tell the story" about our talent.

  • Partner in creating a vision and talent data roadmap.

  • Translate talent management and business issues into questions and hypotheses that can be understood and tested with data.

  • Utilize employee engagement, recognition, and HRIS platforms to collect feedback and data to generate insights (PeopleSoft, Taleo, Quantum, SumTotal, and others).

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and modeling, and use/translate that data to glean insights and tell a compelling story.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across our Talent team and the broader Syneos Health organization

  • Leverage tools, such PowerBI and Excel, to drive efficient insights.

  • Communicate findings to management via presentations, on a periodic/ quarterly/ annual basis.

  • Conduct and prep analysis for cyclical talent initiatives such as performance management and compensation planning.

  • Partner with IT and HR Systems to improve operating efficiencies/effectiveness and work with internal teams to automate or streamline data collection processes.

  • Build dashboards and other tools that will help stakeholders understand how things are going and when they need to take action (quarterly organizational health check reports).

  • BA/BS degree, Masters preferred (Data Science, Information Management, I/O Psychology, HR, Computer Science, Math/Statistics, or other related field)

  • 1 to 2 years of experience developing reports and data visualizations

  • Analytical and data driven - prefer experience in at least some of the following areas: SQL/relational databases, basic inferential statistics, and research methods (correlations, regressions, t-tests, research design)

  • Story telling through data

Position Summary The Customer Master Data Analyst will initiate, execute, and manage data creation/modification in SAP while ensuring compliance to data standards, standard operating procedures, and service level agreements for Teleflex's operations. The position will include the use of SAP queries, use of the Data Services tool and mass change functions within the SAP environment. Principal Responsibilities * Serve as the principal data resource specific to data definitions and for all customer master data * Assist in establishing best practices, policies, and SOP's for customer master data maintenance and monitoring * Ensure compliance and management of data creation/modification process. Compliance of data management processes must meet FDA and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. * Assist with the data requirements for system test functions * Provide training and support business units and functional departments * Provide guidance and recommendations to business units to enhance the quality of customer master data * Proactively and independently escalate perceived issues relating to metrics and data to appropriate management areas to facilitate resolution * Collaborate with global peers to ensure data consistency across objects * Conduct data integrity audits * Provide end-user support in conjunction with Global Competency Center issue/incident resolution * Provide a high level of service to the business units that are within the agreed service levels requirements Education / Experience Requirements * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. * Minimum of 3 years of data maintenance and 5 years of related business experience in Manufacturing, Customer Service, Materials Management, or Sales/Marketing * SAP/BW/BI experience required. Specialized Skills / Other Requirements * Proven track record of problem-solving and analytical skills. * Innovative and creative with strong planning and organizational skills. * Comfortable analyzing and interpreting complex data sets. * Ability to prioritize work.
