JOB SUMMARY:

The Talent + Culture Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Talent + Culture Manager and Talent + Culture Director in the overall administration of the Human Resources function in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and to maximize profitability. This is an entry level position and ideal for someone that would like to learn about Human Resources.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide overall administrative support to the human resources department, enabling smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. Use your multi-tasking talents to assist with associate and management needs during the employment lifecycle.

  • Employ your people skills to help with hiring and basic employee relations.

  • Maintenance of job postings within budget and staffing guidelines, assist with new hire paperwork, on-boarding, etc.

  • Help ensure safety and regulatory compliance by assisting with maintaining proper logs.

  • Effectively communicate important information to fellow talent and assist with orientation. Ensure that talent bulletin boards are current, interesting, and include safety information..

  • Assist with team member relations programs, activities and initiatives to including holiday functions, health fairs, award banquets and special events.

SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 1 to 2 years administrative experience and strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task are required.

  • Computer proficiency required with previous experience using and HRIS programs, Microsoft Office suites, and other software is required.

  • Minimum of one year hotel or human resource related work experience preferred.

  • Excellent English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills are preferred,
