POSITION SUMMARY

The Talent Coordinator will be the administrative expert and provide front-line support to hiring managers, employees, and applicants for any system or process related issues. This includes facilitating a variety of logistical and recruitment activities such as posting jobs, new hire paperwork and onboarding. As a member of a small team, this energetic multi-tasker will juggle responsibilities, innovate solutions, and provide support to the Talent Management Center of Excellence

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates degree or higher preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years related experience with demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast paced environment. Human Resources or healthcare experience a plus.

  • Exceptional Microsoft office skills. ATS or HRIS experience a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism under any situation is critical.

  • Experience providing exceptional customer service over the telephone.

  • Detail oriented and highly organized with proven superior time management skills including ability to multi-task.

VIEW JOBS 12/1/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-01T00:00 Under the general direction of the Human Resources Director, the Talent & Rewards Manager ensures alignment of the strategy, design and management of the compensation programs and the talent acquisition function. Work flexibly and creatively to establish and continually enhance the compensation function. Manage the talent acquisition program to ensure positions are filled in accordance to goals. Manage the HR administration process that provides quality service to multiple HR functions. Ensures payroll actions, terminations, onboarding, and off-boarding actions are performed in accordance to Payroll and HR schedules. Essential Functions (Functions and duties critical to performing the job) Compensation ?Serve as the in-house subject matter expert on compensation and work closely with various internal stakeholders at all levels. ?Recommend, design, evaluate, and modify compensation policies to ensure programs are in line with market practices, competitive, and in compliance with statutory requirements. ?Manage the administration of compensation programs, including the annual salary administration process, bonus programs, etc. ?Participate in and conduct both exempt and nonexempt salary and/or benefit surveys to ensure a competitive compensation and benefits structure. Maintain and recommend updated pay structures and/or benefit programs based on market data. ?Manages job descriptions; assist in writing and updating assist job descriptions to reflect position requirements and responsibilities. Create job files and track position changes. ?Review requests for job classification review and make classification/pay level recommendations. ?Assist in creating content for training education and facilitates training as appropriate. ?Develop, monitor, and work within approved compensation budget. ?Enters and/or reviews pay actions in all HR systems. Work with HRIS team to ensure data integrity. ?Develop and tracks compensation related metrics to monitor productivity. ?Create and monitor organizational charts. Talent Acquisition ?Manage and develop the Talent Acquisition team. Holds team accountable for performance metrics. ?Continuously reviews the execution of recruiting processes and related metrics to evaluate efficiency, assess quality and address challenges. Routinely provides feedback to team. ?Assign and prioritizes workloads based on requisitions and functional recruitment assignments. ?Evaluate team performance, counsels employees, and recommends appropriate corrective actions as appropriate. ?Organize and conduct job interviews for key roles in the Authority. ?Ensure recruiting processes are execute effectively and all requisitions are addressed on a timely basis. Manage the recruitment budget including costs related to advertising and job fairs. ?Monitor organizational diversity and inclusion efforts. ?Work closely with Talent Acquisition Team to identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance the recruitment, selection and onboarding processes. Identifies, designs, and implements new processes for continually improving the hiring manager and applicant experience. Identifies opportunities for streamlining and continuing to automate processes when possible. HR Administration ?Manage the HR administration team. Hold team accountable for performance metrics. ?Ensure the timely processing of onboarding and off-boarding personnel actions. ?Monitor employee transfers. Ensure the proper authorizations. ?Assist other functional areas or on other projects as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by HR Director. ?Perform all other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications ?Knowledge of federal laws and regulations related to the administration of compensation and benefit programs; required knowledge of compensation theories and practical applications. ?Financial management and budgeting skills. ?Proficient knowledge of automation support tools used in the HR field. ?Knowledge of job description creation and job grading methodology. ?Highly developed interpersonal skills, organizational communication skills and conflict resolution techniques. ?Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment. ?Detail oriented and strong organizational skills. ?Strong analytical and problem solving skills. ?Ability to handle multiple projects. ?Ability to provide direction to staff in terms of development, training, and coaching. ?Maintain a high level of confidentiality. ?Ability to be both proactive and flexible. ?Advance computer and Microsoft Office skills and use of other applications necessary for the position. Preferred Qualifications ?Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related fields. ?Minimum five (5) years of experience gained in increasingly responsible positions in finance, human resources or compensation. ?Minimum of one (1) years of management experience. ?Human Resources, Benefits or Compensation certification is preferred. Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certification or SHRM-Certified Professional preferred but not required.
