As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above

  • Be involved in the financial management of clients

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges

  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects

  • Train, coach, and supervise staff

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in human resources policies and practices, preferably within a professional services environment, including, but not limited to, the following areas related to the internal operations of a global network of professional services firms:

  • Coaching and development;

  • Talent management;

  • Performance management;

  • Employee relations;

  • HR policy interpretation;

  • Effectively implement diversity initiatives;

  • Workforce planning and budgeting; and,

  • Alternative talent pools including global workforces and third-party labor.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success within a role involving human resources management, preferably within the internal operations of a network of global professional services firms, which includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Accountable for the execution of the People Strategy implementation and HR support within assigned market, including coaching and development, talent management, performance management and facilitation;

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to partners/leaders focused on accelerating the development of our people;

  • Collaborate with partners/leaders to identify issues and to develop and execute action plans across all areas of our people strategy including diversity, development, performance management, rewards and recognition; - Proactively lead partners/leaders in identification and management of high-potential talent and succession planning, retention efforts, connectivity, and diversity initiatives;

  • Leverage tools from Onboarding teams, supports assimilation of new hires and interns to the team/practice, reviewing initial client assignments, and chargeability and diversity initiatives;

  • Advise partners/leaders in developing and executing plans (e.g., broad-based work experience, workforce planning) to address both short and long term needs/skill gaps;

  • Leverage understanding of the practice to positively influence deployment decisions with goal of balancing workload, optimizing utilization, promoting flexibility, diversity initiatives, and providing broad-based experiences and developmental opportunities while balancing firm and client needs; and,

  • Team with Deployment Consultant, including liaising with Global Mobility teams on short and long term talent deployment, package review and transition, and repatriation.

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will serve as an internal consultant to leaders and key stakeholders to effectively lead all aspects of the recruitment process. The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant provides strong and effective leadership, direction, and professional expertise in all areas of sourcing, recruiting, selecting, and retaining talented individuals for Rush University Medical Center. The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant delivers recruiting results in a fast-paced, high energy environment and strengthens the organization's image as an employer of choice. In addition, this individual is responsible for exceeding internal client expectations by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent who fit the culture, mission, and values of Rush University Medical Center in a timely and efficient manner. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Builds and fosters an employment brand that attracts key talent in the region to the organization. * Maintains candidate slates and builds pipelines; builds talent communities. * Partners with other members of HR Centers of Excellence to develop workforce plans to meet future staffing goals and drive a more diverse workforce. * Maintains the high standard for talent at Rush University Medical Center, continuing to raise the bar and introducing new ways to think creatively about talent acquisition. * Builds and manages productive partnerships with organizational leaders, hiring managers, and HR Centers of Excellence with strong influencing skills. * Resolves issues quickly and directly in order to maximize performance. * Conducts targeted research to collect market and candidate data to help created informed recruitment strategies for Rush. * Maintains all relevant information in the applicant tracking system; maintains integrity of data. * Keeps abreast of cutting-edge topics related to talent acquisition. * Provides effective talent-related decision support through the use of timely and meaningful data analysis, metrics, and dashboards. * Drives continuous improvement across the recruitment team. * Recommends new policies and procedures, monitors job offers and compensation practices, and emphasizes benefits and perks. * Adheres to all compliance and regulatory requirements. * Implements and supports inclusion recruiting efforts and participates in diversity recruiting events and activities. * Builds and strengthens diversity recruiting competence within the talent acquisition team and among hiring managers. * Identifies, evaluates, and presents new recruitment sources that will generate quality and diverse applicants. * Develops, enhances, and maintains relationships with current and new diversity organizations and partnerships; manages relationships with external diversity organizations and influencers. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or a related field required. * A minimum of five years of progressive talent acquisition or related experience in a best-in-class organization required. * A minimum of five years of experience in data analysis and interpretation preferred. * Previous experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, health insurance, or a related industry preferred. * PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP preferred. * Previous experience successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders with a consistent track record of delivering on-time, high quality results. * Previous experience operating in a consultative or advisory capacity required. * Knowledge of state and federal employment laws. * Experience in developing and delivering recruitment strategies and processes to improve outcomes required. * Requires excellent skills in influence, negotiation, collaboration, and handling difficult conversations required. * Skilled with competency and behavior-based interview and assessment required. * Adept with using a variety of recruiting technologies to source talent. * Experience as a change agent; comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. * Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
