The Talent Assessment Partner in conjunction with director of Accelerated Development and Assessments and Talent Acquisition teams, will be responsible for developing and executing the Assessment Strategy, including protocols and processes across the company. The manager will oversee a portfolio of existing assessments and consult on talent assessment needs across the business.
Build, refine and support new and ongoing programs as required by organizational need.
Evaluate the effectiveness of assessment-related programs and support/facilitate improvements based on the evaluation.
Explore predictive indicators of job success and conduct validation studies around leadership identification, role effectiveness and career progression.
Provide governance and protocol for the organization's tiered assessment strategy
Provide individual coaching to leaders via 360 feedback sessions and other related opportunities as needed as well as share insight and expertise on organization/succession planning and high potential development.
Provide expertise to ensure the organization is current with the latest trends in the areas of assessment, leadership, and coaching.
Builds out Tiered Assessment Strategy (pre-hire and post-hire Leadership Development assessments).
Partners with HRBPs in identifying new assessment needs and pilots options to identify and validate best methods.
Provides coaching, training, and support to Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPS) related to assessment input in addition to upskilling in assessment feedback in derived from reports and related tools.
Reviews and maintains database of all Assessment reports and data.
Summarizes and presents research findings to Talent Management, HR partners, Talent Acquisition, and line managers for use in shaping recruitment, retention, and leadership development strategies.
Oversees and maintains quality control of external psychological service providers and the organizationally mandated/approved assessment tools.
Reviews, reports on, and keeps current on best practices in assessment tools and evaluation methods related to leadership development. Leads vendor selection in content areas and manages vendor relationships.
Master's degree required.
Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, preferred.
5-7 years practical experience in assessment practices, coaching and leadership development programs.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to engage across a diverse population from new hires up to senior leaders.
Plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of assessment programs and processes.
Comfortable with the design and analysis of validation and reliability studies related to measuring leadership potential and job success as well as database management and statistical analysis.
Strong influence and relationship building skills across all levels of an organization.
Superior communication skills including the ability to synthesize assessment data into clear insights and present in compelling, business orientated formats.
Plan, coordinate, and assign the work of others and lead functional workgroups.
