The Talent Administrator performs administrative support for a wide variety of functions related to recruiting in the veterinary field. Due to the sensitive information handled within the Recruiting Department, this position requires a high level of discretion, discernment and professionalism. Reliability, accuracy, and a desire to serve others by assisting with various administrative functions is required.

  • Review, approve, and post job requisitions.
  • Manage all open requisitions within SVPs Applicant Tracking System.
  • Initiate, monitor and communicate on background checks/drug screens.
  • Manage and maintain all veterinarian job postings.
  • Complete reference checks as needed.
  • Draft offer letters.
  • Maintain recruiting metrics reporting.
  • Work on projects to improve or implement core recruiting processes and tools.
  • Work closely with Talent Specialist and Student Coordinator on needed administrative tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned by Recruiting Manager.


  • High school degree or GED equivalent required, plus 2 years experience in a professional setting.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree, preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong client service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel for selected events, as needed.

Responsibilities: * Act as a strategic business partner to Human Resources Digital Technology (HRDT) on behalf of Experienced Hire, Senior Talent, and Campus Talent Acquisition (TA) leadership by serving as a bridge linking the recruiting business community and HRDT to ensure the services HRDT provides align efficiently with the business needs * Present HRDT technical requirements and concerns to the Experienced Hire, Senior Talent, and Campus TA business leaders and users, help non-technical personnel to understand technology constraints and what to expect from system solutions, as well as their impact to business functions * Develop a solid understanding of Experienced Hire, Senior Talent, and Campus TA business processes to research and identify improvement and innovation opportunities to be presented to HR Talent Leadership for implementation consideration * Coordinate with talent acquisition business leaders and HRDT to determine recruiting technology strategic direction, define recruiting technology requirements, evaluate system and enhancement solutions which includes assisting with risk, security and legal reviews, developing and reviewing system contracts/SOWs to ensure business and technical requirements are addressed, and coordinating project prioritization and scope decisions * Review candidate experience feedback related to technology processes to identify possible technology enhancements for HRDT consideration * Represent Experienced Hire, Senior Talent, and Campus TA by partnering with a variety of internal and cross functional teams and on projects related to technology processes Qualifications: * Minimum fifteen years combined experience in Information Technology, Process Improvements, and Recruiting * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university * Information Technology and Process Improvements experience, preferably with recruiting and onboarding systems, applicant tracking systems, recruiting contact management systems, processes, and compliance matters (OFCCP, PCAOB, etc.), career sites and other recruiting related technologies; Avature experience desired * Experience coordinating with executive leadership to translate business needs into effective IT Recruiting strategies and solutions * A collaborative decision-making and work style; strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills, as well as excellent analytical skills * Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
