Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for providing the highest level of staffing services to RSLI leaders. This position guides the hiring manager and candidates through the selection process and delivers high quality candidates. The Talent Acquisition Specialist performs full lifecycle recruiting and maintains excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, vendors, and the community at large. Scope may include working with vendors who provide candidates or services through any or all parts of the recruiting process. This position will also be required to lead recruiting projects to improve recruiting processes and vendor relations. Creativity, strong assessment skills, working successfully with long-term strategic objectives, business acumen and high personal productivity are required.
Primary Responsibilities

Partner with internal clients to assist them with all recruiting needs including, but not limited to, sourcing strategy, developing job descriptions, sourcing, interviewing, candidate closing and negotiations.
Manage the entire life cycle of the recruiting process with minimal managerial guidance.
Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position.
Consult with internal clients on recruiting issues, interviewing techniques, hiring decisions and market data.
Build a pipeline of talented job seekers that fit the profile of the company's core competencies.
Creatively source and network candidates to reduce fees to outside agencies.
Build and execute a recruiting plan that focuses on attracting a diverse candidate pool.
Manage the efforts of recruiting search firms; setting expectations, negotiating Statements of Work and communicating the progress to the internal client.
Facilitate staff augmentation efforts and the rate negotiations associated (vendor management).
Manage and coordinate communications with candidates.
Maintain all progress and status reports, communicating this to the Director, Talent Acquisition.
Participate in project work as required.
Identify and resolve recruiting process breakdowns and/or areas of improvement with minimal managerial guidance.
Seek continuous improvements to enhance the capabilities of the recruiting team.
Participate in departmental process improvement project work on an as-needed basis.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching more junior team members as needed.

Skills, Competencies, Education and Experience

Minimum 6 years in recruiting for a combination of management, sales, and professional exempt, and non-exempt employees required. Additional agency/firm experience a plus.
Behavioral interviewing, training and experience required.
Experience in networking with, attracting, and sourcing a diverse candidate pool.
Applicant tracking system experience required.
Strong personal integrity, organizational maturity and the ability to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability and desire to work with HR colleagues, search firms, hiring managers and candidates in thoughtful and personable way.
Continuous improvement orientation with success in streamlining workflow and reducing defects in processes.
Strong influencing skills with the ability to lead and partner at every level of the organization.
Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage both recruiting and projects at the same time.
