Talent Acquistion Manager

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for Vallen's talent acquisition, employer branding and diversity strategy to attract, promote and retain top talent in the Vallen organization. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners.
Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and recruitment plans that include sourcing and attracting diverse talent pools.
Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment, employer branding and diversity that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new AI processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within our Vallen mission to deliver the highest quality results to our hiring teams
Articulate and develop a plan with deliverables, timelines and utilize recruiting tools to manage process and track and onboard candidates. SIlkroad ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and Onboarding, preferred. SAP Success Factors experience is a plus
Develop and implement recruiting metrics that will drive and enhance TA productivity and efficiency.
Participate and implement Sonepar Corporate related initiatives and projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources, diversity initiatives and employer branding, etc.
Minimum work experience requirements:
5+ years of experience in creating and developing talent acquisition strategy for large, national organizations with a proven record of accomplishment of increasing candidate pools
5+ years of experience in managing multiple recruiters and multi-level searches, including Sr and Executive level talent
3+ years of experience in building and using a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive skills in diversity recruitment, social recruiting, digital employer branding and internet research.
2+ years of assessing productivity and improving processes using Artificial Intelligence
3+ years of experience in managing and developing recruiters and sourcing talent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong verbal and written communication skills
Possess strong analytical skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team.
Minimum education requirements:
Bachelor's in business or a related field
Masters in HR or a related field is preferred
HR Certifications, SPHR or other related certifications
