Overview

The Job in a Nutshell:

The Talent Acquisition Strategist plays a key role in supporting, creating, and executing strategies to increase the number of candidates that Natural Grocers receives for open positions. Participates in creating sourcing strategies for existing and new store projects. Manages the department's social media and sourcing accounts and develops partnerships with the communities to conduct outreach events.

Responsibilities

Main Ingredients:

Sourcing

  • Researches and recommends new candidate sourcing platforms

  • Tracks and recommends sourcing plans and recruiting spends

  • Develops sourcing plans for struggling stores, new stores, new markets

  • Places ads, updates postings, etc.

  • Manages Linked-in, Glassdoor, and App Feeder accounts

  • Creates and distributes internal recruiting collateral

Recruiting Technology

  • Researches and recommends new recruiting technologies

  • Plans and develops implementations

  • Creates and delivers training plans for new technology

  • Manages system refinements and supports rolls outs and additional functionality for current systems (iCIMS, Text Recruit, etc.)

Community Outreach

  • Coordinates with Marketing and Recruiters to develop community outreach plans

  • Researches community outreach opportunities.

  • Schedules and conducts community events

  • Schedules and conducts new hire orientations

  • Researches local wage comparisons and competition for new stores.

Diversity

  • Plan and participates in designing company wide diversity program

  • Develops community partnerships

Qualifications

Recipe for Success:

  • 5 or more years Recruiting experience

  • Strong social media skills

  • Ability to travel up to 35%

  • Marketing experience, a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Exemplary planning, organizational, and time management skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, iCIMS or other ATS, Text Recruit, Linked-in, Glassdoor, and graphics software

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

OVERVIEW: Provides administrative support to Talent Acquisition Department including but not limited to field and corporate employee filing, data entry, scheduling, ATS administration and assist in on-boarding and training of new employees. Will also present information regarding job opportunities to potential candidates and will conduct interviews of entry level employees. Specific Responsibilities Recruiting Support Provides recruiting support for positions not currently sought to ensure all candidates who call into the organization receive a returned phone call within one business day Administration of PI Assessments Schedule in/person and phone interviews for talent acquisition team and hiring managers. Attends job fairs as required representing the company where needed Enter and maintain candidate records on ATS Maintain job postings on LinkedIn, Indeed, Craigslist, among others. Partner with Human Resources on as needed basis. Will also handle expense reports for the talent department Orientation Acts as liaison between recruitment and onboarding, emailing candidates' response requested emails each week to ensure solid communication of expectations on first week of employment. Serves as the Encore Ambassador to create a positive first hour impression of Encore Electric while employees are completing their paperwork Assist in creation recruitment and orientation packets creating the employee file and checking for accuracy taking accountability to ensure all new hires are completing paperwork 100% complete and accurate before delivery to payroll for entry into systems ATS Administration Ensures ATS (Taleo) is up to date each week entering all required data and alerting TA manager to problems or patterns Maintains integrity of data in Taleo, adding and terminating employees as required Follows up with field employees to ensure missing information is entered into the system as required Job and Trade Fairs: Oversees scheduling of key personal to job and trade shows.
