Reporting to the HR Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment for open roles within the organization, specifically in our fulfillment centers, ensuring hiring needs are being met in real time.
Year 1 is going to be about:
Work with hiring managers to identify talent needs, maintain a virtual bench of top candidates, and consult throughout the hiring process
Post current openings and refresh job postings to ensure a constant stream of candidate flow
Conduct initial screening of resumes and applications
Schedule and conduct phone screens and onsite interviews
Follow up with candidates timely regarding recruiting status; Utilize Applicant Tracking System to fullest potential ensuring data integrity
Own, manage, and drive weekly onsite hiring events
Conduct & schedule pre-employment background checks, drug screenings, and reference checks
Prepare offer letters, correspond with new hires regarding onboarding process
Assist new hires during the post onboarding process once hired
Own the scheduling and facilitation New Hire Orientations for all fulfillment locations
Own and manager internal promotion and departmental transfer processes
With the support of the Sr. Director, HR and HR Manager, identify continuous improvement opportunities and develop strategies and solutions to find recruiting efficiencies and process improvements, and additional avenues to attract candidates to open positions
Serve as the liaison between Turn5 and approved staffing vendors and outsource staff organizations
Identify and attend local career fairs, community and college events, media opportunities, Turn5 sponsored events, etc., to attract applicants.
Perform special projects to enrich the Turn5 recruiting brand to continue attracting top talent
Responsible for preparing the weekly fulfillment turnover report
Perform other projects and duties as assigned
We can't skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a "must" to be successful. So, we need you to have:
Experience: 1+ years' experience in high volume full cycle recruiting experience preferred
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong understanding of recruitment and pipeline development
Strong personal time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel
Intermediate to advanced interviewing skills
Computer proficient
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Oral and written communication, interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
