The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide an exceptional experience to business leaders, hiring managers and candidates, supporting team members through all phases of the recruiting process. Understanding hiring needs and challenges, sourcing potential hires, building relationships with passive candidates and hiring managers and evaluating candidates' performance in interviews.
Collaboratively consult with hiring managers and local HR team to determine current staffing needs and recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates.
Identify key performance factors, develop sourcing pools and establish interviewing criteria.
Actively support EEO and AAP activities and identified AAP goals and objectives.
Proactively create applicant pools and talent pipelines by posting job ads through job boards, social media platforms, state employment agencies, professional associations.
Proactively create applicant pools and talent pipelines by contacting industry professionals from CPG companies and follow-up on referrals.
Evaluate applications, review resumes, complete initial phone interviews to identify top candidates and narrow candidate pool.
Make recommendations to hiring managers on the top candidates and coordinate in-person interviews.
Partner with local HR team in support of the candidate end-to-end talent management life cycle.
Actively support succession planning activities and initiatives.
Organize and participate in hiring events in support of HR Talent Strategy.
Provide quarterly and annual hiring plans.
Track key recruiting KPIs to include time to fill and source of hire.
Foster long term relationships with previous and potential candidates.
Analyze turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs.
Positively promote and represent the Saputo brand.
Communicate professionally with all levels of employees and external business partners.
Adhere to the Saputo code of ethics and actively apply the Saputo values.
Minimum of three years of solid, full cycle recruiting/talent acquisition experience.
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resource information systems (HRIS).
Experience with structured/behavioral based interviews.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel, as well as popular social media platforms.
Demonstrates business maturity and integrity, especially when dealing with highly confidential information.
Ability to credibly influence others with his/her point of view.
Ability to work collaboratively with all departments and management levels within the company.
Ability to align programs and services with Company's overall vision.
Ability to understand and add value to Saputo's business.
Up to 50% travel required.
