Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) is responsible for recruiting special, special forces. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with appropriate Managers, as well as the Executive Leadership Team to recruit, mentor, and assist with career development during the co-worker's employment lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience recruiting candidates in Commercial Construction or Industrial Construction. Note that the areas listed are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by co-workers assigned to this role. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job.

  • Assists Regional and Corporate Management in Defining Recruitment and Career Path Needs

  • Identifies and Establishes Recruiting Strategy

  • Actively identifies and recruits qualified candidates through pre-screening activities

  • Coordinates interview schedule with the candidates and hiring managers

  • Serves as Liaison for Recruits During the Hiring Process

  • Administers and Oversees Recruiting tasks

  • Ensures a Safe Work Environment

  • Participates in Training/Certifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR related field is preferred, and at least 4 years prior Talent Acquisition/Recruiting experience, preferably in construction

  • Professional Certification in Human Resources Management (PHR or SPHR) preferred

  • Talent Management Certification preferred
