Job Description:

Our Talent Acquisition Specialists (Recruiters) are responsible for hiring the talented team members who help us transform care. You will build relationships and collaborate with all business units to meet current Talent Acquisition needs by conducting and managing full-cycle high volume recruiting, hiring, and other staffing needs for assigned areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implements and coordinates system-wide sourcing strategies, recruitment and retention activities and advertising.

  • Develop, cultivate and manage relationships with business partners and hiring managers to provide service excellence and expertise.

  • Source qualified candidates to meet customer requirements by implementing extensive searching, networking, and screening techniques.

  • Pre-screen, interview, and manage full cycle recruiting process

  • Maintain resume database and candidate for area(s) of focus.

  • Plan and coordinate system-wide recruiting events/initiatives, as necessary;

  • Act as key liaison to vendors and potential candidates; participates in the events.

  • Develop workforce strategies which include internal and external research and data analysis to identify drivers around recruitment and retention strategies.

  • Incorporates metrics to define success/failure, and shares with key stakeholders.

  • Ensure the health system delivers a consistent corporate brand as designed by Talent Acquisition Strategy.

  • Coordinate with advertising agency to manage advertising and position posting needs.

  • Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house applicant tracking system to identify and recruit qualified candidates.

  • Conducts follow-up calls with hiring managers and new hires to access hiring quality improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor vacancy and turnover rates for service lines and develops strategies to address retention issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, required.

  • Masters Degree, preferred.

  • Minimum three (3) years of interviewing experience required, with experience in recruiting multiple skill sets.

  • Behavioral Interviewing certificate, preferred.

  • PHR certification preferred.

  • Knowledge of personnel policy and procedure, JCAHO, and federal and New York state laws regarding employment practices

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft, and applicant tracing experience preferred.

VIEW JOBS 11/24/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-02-22T00:00 POSITION SUMMARY The Meatroom Stock Specialist is responsible for maintaining the order and sanitation of the storage areas in the Meatroom as well as assisting in receipt of all deliveries and is responsible for the proper dating, storage, and rotation of all products. This position coordinates with Education personnel to insure all kitchen requisitions are filled properly and according to specifications. The Meatroom Stock Specialist needs to have a working knowledge of all products used in inventory and the ability to assess acceptable quality standards. Excellent customer service skills, teamwork, and pride in the workplace are integral to this position's performance. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Assists in the proper receipt of all deliveries. * Responsible for proper storage and rotation of all products, insuring all controls are maintained. * Properly fills and stages all classroom requisitions in conjunction the faculty; will not be responsible for fabrication of any CF cuts when filling orders. * Uses band saw and meat grinders. * Notifies buyer of any unforeseen product movement or shortages. * Manages all aspects of the Eatec system properly as they apply to that area's needs. * Refers all special order requests to the buyer's attention. * Provides customer service either by phone or in person to customers seeking assistance. * Participates in all required routine and monthly inventories. * Responsible for proper order and sanitation of storage and receiving areas. * Responsible for operations in this area in the manager's absence including inventory, ordering and customer service. * Any and all other duties as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: * High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: * Three (3) years of previous warehousing experience, preferably with meat products. * Prior experience using an inventory/ordering system, preferably EATEC. * Proven track record of working in a team like manner assuring customer satisfaction. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Knowledge in aspects of butchery and uses for various culinary cuts of meat. * Culinary education or background. * Ability to work in a classroom environment and assist students in identifying product in storage. REQUIRED SKILLS * Thorough knowledge of Inventory/Ordering systems, EATEC. * Ability to properly communicate with customers utilizing the Outlook system, in person or by phone. * Ability to be self directed and motivated. * Excellent team work and customer satisfaction skills. * Working understanding of the needs of the classroom instructors. * Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities simultaneously. * Exceptional organizational skills. WORKING CONDITIONS * Must be able to work a flexible schedule including overtime and on Saturdays as required by business needs. * Physical ability to handle heavy physical labor in a congested, cold environment. * Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift heavy weights up to and over fifty (50) pounds for most of each day. * Cold, crowded, often hectic meat storage facility, much under freezing or refrigerated temperatures.
