Under the mentor-ship of Senior TA Specialists/Managers, this position will recruit for a variety of roles, ranging from entry-level individual contributors to the manager level. This role will own the recruiting process from sourcing and screening candidates, to interviewing candidates onsite, and ultimately delivering and negotiating job offers. This role will also be a contributor to broader corporate recruiting programs such as internship recruiting and job fairs. In addition to recruiting, this position may participate in process improvements in order to help the Talent Acquisition team with continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will combine their ability to drive the recruiting process with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. This position requires a routine onsite presence at our corporate headquarters campus in beautiful Bothell, WA.


  • Take the lead on full life-cycle recruiting process for a variety of manager & below level positions across varying functional groups (~12-16 openings at a given time). Conducts the hiring process in accord with Seattle Genetics Hiring Principals

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop job specifications, a sourcing strategy, how to "sell" the opportunity to passive candidates, and a timeline appropriate for the position

  • Utilize basic sourcing tools and techniques to find active and passive candidates, and establish a network of talent and resources

  • Manage the applicant flow process, coordinate interviews with scheduler and hiring manager to facilitate onsite interviews, and follow-up appropriately

  • Interview candidates and provide prompt feedback to hiring managers, while also helping to assimilate and summarize feedback from others

  • Serve as a key recruiter in the screening and selection of intern and fellowship candidates. May be asked to take lead role in managing these programs

  • Partner with HRBPs, the compensation team, and hiring managers to make recommendations on job offers, get necessary approvals, and facilitate making the offer to candidates

  • Ensure recruitment efforts are conducted in a manner that is unbiased and compliant with all policies and legislation, in addition to following best practices for applicant tracking, interviewing and hiring


  • At least 1 year prior experience as a recruiter, or at least 3 years in another recruiting-related role (such as scheduling or coordinating interviews)

  • Strong process orientation, coupled with ability to discern when to follow processes and when to ask for and allow exceptions

  • A client-focused and collaborative approach that can translate into partnering with hiring managers of varying personalities and styles

  • Sharp interviewing skills with ability to screen and assess talent for both technical and soft-skill qualities

  • Strong project management skills; must be able to multitask and bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide sound advice to hiring managers and provide critical input in a diplomatic way

  • Ability to balance drive and independent thinking with "coachability" and a willingness to take direction on more complex issues

  • Strong writing skills - particularly ability to communicate clear and concise direction in email

  • Basic knowledge of compensation concepts, benefits, equity compensation, and relocation benefits required

  • Bachelor's Degree (Human Resources or Business preferred)

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, job boards, social media sites, etc., as well as ability to conduct research (sourcing) and compile data in presentable formats

The Asset Recovery Specialist coordinates the successful return of our company's assets by working directly with our customers and vendors, including the scheduling of return pickups via a carrier or by one of our field sales representatives. The specialist also administers our customer loaner/Return Materials Acquisition recovery databases. The specialist will use the Oracle service module to conduct background research into circumstances of each case, and document the results of recovery efforts. He/she is responsible for gathering all data and metrics on recovery efforts. The specialist will also manage, research and resolve all non-receivable items in a multi- department environment in an expedited manor. Essential Job Functions: * Coordinates the return of international and domestic assets and equipment directly with the customer and vendor. * Accepts inbound calls from customers and sources involved in the recovery of assets * Completes outbound calls to customers and vendors regarding equipment and asset returns. * Reviews Oracle, Discoverer and Salesforce database to research background for each case and to properly document latest status and recovery efforts * Monitors and manages the Shared email folder * Communication/coordination with finance/credit departments of all escalated customer unreturned material * Manage and resolve all non-receivable service items * Gathers performance metrics on the recovery program for continual evaluation * Provides accurate and prompt customer service and effectively maintains customer relations. * Negotiates successful asset recovery with challenging and elusive customers, and provides persistent follow up on challenging recoveries. * Coordinates with key departments and management to ensure timeliest return of equipment * Investigates unsuccessful returns and identifies new leads for successful recovery of company assets * Manages return orders within established guidelines and parameters * Maintains appropriate documentation pertaining to the recovery of company assets. * Demonstrates the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment using multiple programs while maintaining accuracy. * Assists in the development of policies and procedures for the recovery of company assets * Demonstrates the ability to be self-motivated and the desire to succeed * Intimate knowledge of International carriers database i.e. FedEx, UPS, USPS Knowledge and Experience: * High School diploma or GED.
