The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the recruiting process including managing job postings, sourcing and screening candidates, submitting and guiding candidates through the interview process, conducting reference checks, extending formal offers of employment and preparing for the onboarding of candidates.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and will develop recruiting strategies by using traditional and non-traditional resources; source for both active and passive candidates by conducting searches through creative sourcing techniques including social media, job posting boards, cold-calling, networking, internet, trade journal advertising, professional networking sites, job fairs, campus recruiting, etc.
Developing and implementing effective recruitment and retention strategies to fill open positions within the designated timeframe.
Screening resumes, interviewing candidates and administering appropriate assessments with a viable pool of top candidates to appropriate department director/manager for review.
Attending conferences and career fairs as requested.
Performing follow-up as appropriate including reference checks, offer letters, new hire paperwork and rejection letters.
Coordinating a structured interview process.
Preparing all hiring documentation and working with Recruitment Coordinator to facilitate processing of offer letter and ensure successful completion of hiring process.
Education: High School Diploma Required, Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred.
Experience: 2-4 years' experience in Human Resources or staff recruiting. Health Care experience preferred.
A proven track record of managing recruitment/talent acquisition in a fast paced environment. Requires interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with Executives, Directors, Managers and team members. Able to demonstrate problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer literate, with experience in the operation of office equipment and iCims Applicant Tracking System preferred.
