Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role will support the full cycle recruitment process for both hourly and salary positions as well as facilitate the onboarding process for new employees. The ideal candidate will possess a continuous improvement mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working closely with

both employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly and salaried positions, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

  • Partner with managers to understand role responsibilities and business needs.

  • Participate in community and school recruitment events.

  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations.

  • Partner with managers to ensure onboarding training is completed and tracked.

  • Ensure current job descriptions are maintained.

  • Partner with managers to ensure appropriate new hire training is initiated.

Compliance and Audits:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and legal regulations.

  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.

  • Implement and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure adherence.

General HR Support:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Provide support or coverage to other HR team members as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a recruiting role.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

  • Proactive and responsive with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Comfortable working with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
