The Talent Acquisition Specialist position is focused on recruitment for Business Development roles, and plays a pivotal role in talent acquisition, overseeing the entire recruitment process. This role involves close collaboration with hiring managers to anticipate and address future hiring requirements, particularly within the Business Development team at VC3. Your primary focus will be on attracting and sourcing Account Executive candidates using diverse channels, including social media networks, internal connections, and employee referrals. Your ultimate goal is to ensure that VC3 recruits high-caliber individuals who not only possess the skills for success but also resonate with our organizational culture and values. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in cultivating a robust talent pipeline for sustained growth within the business development team.

  • Ownership of full cycle recruitment specifically for the Business Development team, including:

  • Prepare job descriptions and design job postings to successfully attract candidates.

  • Post job advertisements and organize incoming resumes.

  • Source and recruit candidates using social media, educational institutions, job boards and any other relevant sources.

  • Review resumes and shortlist for pre-screening process.

  • Pre-screen and forward appropriate resumes to hiring managers.

  • Participate in interview process, analyze suitability and make recommendations for pursuing candidates.

  • Assess candidates' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, aptitudes and fit to culture & values.

  • Initiate background checks, if applicable.

  • Complete thorough reference checks.

  • Maintain regular contact with hiring managers.

  • Work closely with hiring managers on the recruitment strategy for each position.

  • Provide regular recruitment reports to hiring manager.

  • Utilize appropriate recruitment sourcing strategies and build strategic industry contacts to build a candidate pipeline.

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy, including building a solid talent funnel.

  • Continually collaborate with hiring managers to compile consistent lists of job requirements.

  • Source new and innovative ways to recruit talent.

  • Act as a point of contact and build candidate relationships during the selection process.

  • Promote VC3 as an employer of choice.

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as a Recruiter focused on Business Development roles.

  • Understand the sales function and sales process in a B2B organization.

  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment, flexible to change, independent and highly self-motivated.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening skills and a clear and open communication style.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities from several stakeholders.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • A proven track record for excellence in customer service.
