We are looking for a resourceful, compassionate, and successful Executive Recruiter to join the Executive Search Team at Ohio State. As an Executive Recruiter, you will lead executive searches across the enterprise, sourcing candidates for leadership positions.

Your goal will be to meet the needs of hiring managers by finding candidates that match the team culture and have the skill set they are seeking. The ideal candidate for this exciting opportunity will be experienced in leading full-cycle executive searches, sourcing executive level candidates, and managing searches when a third-party search firm is involved.

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Executive Talent Acquisition, this position leads the life cycle of recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and performing interviews with all prospective candidates. Develop and maintain professional relationships to create efficiencies in recruitment processes.

Devise and implement strategic targeted research and sourcing plan, advertise openings on all major job posting sites and social media platforms, and successfully source top candidates. Collect and review application materials to shortlist candidates, meet with and interview shortlisted individuals, and consult with search committees and hiring managers to obtain input on potential hires. Provide a robust candidate presentation and candidate debrief session to the hiring managers and their search committees.

Develop and administer candidate surveys, gather feedback, and present results to managers. Select the most suitable candidates and present them to the hiring manager for final selection. Escort finalists during their on-campus visits.

Contact nominated references to ascertain candidate's work ethic and experience. Offer guidance and facilitate the offer negotiation process through to its completion, while networking and building long-lasting candidate relationships.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.

Minimum of six (6) years of recruitment experience.

Desired Education and Experience

Experience sourcing top talent in the marketplace using innovative and unique sourcing strategies and technology.

Strong presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate information to diverse audiences.

Executive level recruitment experience.

Highly organized, detail oriented and thorough.

Client focus along with relationship building skills

Discerning, with top-notch decision-making skills.

Excellent desktop research skills.

Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills.

Integrity and confidentiality.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
