Who you are.
The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist/Coordinator will be responsible for supporting Virgin Pulse's hiring process by sourcing for, screening and communicating with new applicants as well as working with our TA Operations Specialist in scheduling interviews for hiring managers and teams. This important function will work with and support our Talent Acquisition Specialists (recruiters) to ensure hiring needs are understood and applicant expectations are met. Applications will be sourced, organized, reviewed, screened and moved through the pre-employment steps as appropriate.
Are you interested in a career in recruiting? Want to develop your skills in best practice corporate recruitment? The Sourcer-Screener/Coordinator role is a hands on entry-level position that will prepare you for a future in the recruiting/talent acquisition function. Job Functions:
Use Job boards and LinkedIn to Source new candidates for key job openings
Track and screen job applicants (by resume) as assigned by requisition
Decline applicants that do not meet the minimum qualifications for the position
Schedule "prescreen" interviews for qualified applicants with appropriate TA Specialist (may assist in screens as needed)
Schedule hiring manager/hiring team interviews using our ATS and Outlook calendars
Provide qualified prescreened applicants to Recruiters
Answer general employment questions from potential applicants
Respond to inquiries about applicant status and application flow
Direct applicants to open positions as needed
Develop relationships with candidates, ensuring each candidate has a positive recruiting experience with our organization
Assess active and passive pipelined candidates from internet databases, social media, contact lists, internal databases, job boards, and employee referrals.
Provide pre-qualified candidates who are the best match for the assigned positions
Work closely with recruiters to facilitate interview discussions
Update information in the Applicant Tracking System to ensure reporting is accurate
Check rehireability of former VP employees who apply
Provide ongoing updates and metrics to Talent Acquisition team members
For a set number of hours per day, will support our TA Process Owner with the scheduling of candidate interviews for hiring managers/teams as needed.
What you bring to the team
0-2 years of work experience in similar role Experience with Applicant Tracking System(s) is a plus - iCIMS preferred
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and react quickly Balance outbound & inbound email communications, and detailed database entries in iICMS Read and accurately assess resumes for various job opportunities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Qualify a high-quality pipeline of candidates by actively sourcing in viable tools like Indeed, LinkedIn and other (free and paid) resources Build relationships with hiring managers and recruiters Motivated and a self-starter Strong organizational skills Customer Service attitude Ability to function under pressure Strong work ethic
Work to maintain system and data security at a high standard, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Virgin Pulse application is not compromised. Adhere to industry best practice coding standards and verify all code developed at Virgin Pulse is free from bugs and security vulnerabilities such as those defined and published by OWASP.
