The Role

Korn Ferry RPO is searching for a Sourcer/Recruiter with Life Science talent acquisition experience.

As a member of Korn Ferry, the Senior Recruiter will build and extend client relationships through excellence in recruitment process delivery including sourcing, screening, assessing, and marketing candidates to clients either in an on-site or off-site environment. The role focuses on high touch candidate relationship management within the Pharmaceutical industry as well as customer focus and responsiveness in client facing activities. The Senior Recruiter is the subject matter expert around applicant tracking systems, candidate sourcing methodologies and recruitment process effectiveness.

Key Accountabilities

  • Create and execute multi-channel sourcing strategy to source candidates meeting client profile and/or building talent pool for current and future requirements

  • Client Relationship Management

  • Conduct interactions with clients in a timely, professional and responsive manner
  • Identify & communicate continuous improvement opportunities and strategies

  • Conduct role briefing with client and set expectations for recruitment process

  • Process Management & Sourcing

  • Follow agreed client recruitment process for recruitment delivery

  • Use competency interviewing to identify and differentiate candidate in presentation and short-list process

  • Candidate Relationship Management

  • Effectively communicate position opportunity and client value proposition

Skills & Experience

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting in the Life Science industry

  • 5+ years of client facing experience interacting with Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process

  • 5+ years of experience conducting competency and behavioral based interviews

  • 5+ years of Applicant Tracking System experience

  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing sourcing methodologies to include: market mapping, recruitment strategies and Boolean searches

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

  • 7+ years of full cycle recruitment experience

  • 7+ years of experience recruiting in the Life Science industry

  • Bachelor's degree

The role would focus on developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies for the Medical function. Major Accountabilities Manage and drive sourcing, assessment, selection and pre-onboarding strategies for the Medical function. Strategy & Planning * Consult with business stakeholders by providing effective staffing solutions, developing a solid understanding of the business context, challenges and objectives as well as external talent landscape. * Drive innovative and cost effective recruitment strategies, leveraging social media to attract right talent for the open roles. * Educate the Hiring Manager / interview panels on the recruiting process and help build their interview capabilities on an ongoing basis. Partnerships * Build collaborative partnerships with Human Resources and Hiring Managers and other stakeholders to proactively identify talent gaps and develop pipeline/s. * Be a Novartis talent ambassador to the external market by understanding and effectively articulating the impact brought by Novartis to the patients worldwide. * Exhibit the Novartis Values and Behaviors consistently with all stakeholders, including hiring managers, candidates and vendors. * Build and strengthen external networks including, but not limited to talent pools, recruitment agencies, universities, social media and conferences. Process Excellence * Accountable for the overall recruitment process to ensure timely and accurate recruitment delivery of the open positions for client groups. * Meet hiring Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and share Talent Acquisition reports and metrics with stakeholders. * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in agency/ consulting and/or in-house recruitment environment * Experience in full life cycle recruitment in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry strongly preferred. * Understanding and demonstrated capability to source passive candidates via niche websites, social media, ATS etc. * Demonstrated proficiency in understanding organization culture and ability to establish relationships both externally and internally. * Ability to manage local / global stakeholders in a remote working environment * Self-directed, detail oriented, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute. * High energy, driven, articulate and friendly personality with a customer- service mindset. * Ability of being assertive as and when required.
