Perspecta has an immediate need for a Talent Acquisition Consultant in either Annapolis Junction, MD or Chantilly, Virginia to support our Defense Group.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years experience working in a similar capacity be expected to perform the following:

  • Maintain relationships with hiring managers with select US Public Sector business segment(s); develops relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Drives the achievement of the hiring targets for business segment(s), including time to fill, cost per hire, graduate, diversity and hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.

  • Manages the beginning to end staffing process within business segment(s); implements sourcing strategies, screens candidates, provides a short list of candidates, coordinates interviews, and creates offer letters.

  • Counsels with managers on the hiring process and ensures that managers are in compliance with corporate and government policy.

  • Provides support on hiring initiatives where there is staffing impact.

  • Uses significant business knowledge and subject matter expertise to contribute to the execution of the staffing strategy, including talent attraction, hiring, relocation, and the contingent workforce.

  • May require some travel for job fairs and meetings

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Strong relationship management skills for internal customers and candidates (business / hiring managers / HR / Staffing stakeholders) and external (candidates, vendors etc.)

  • Experience recruiting in the Public Sector/DoD/Government sector

  • Prior experience recruiting for Cleared/Clearable candidates

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Expert in interviewing and selection skills and techniques

  • Strong team-working skills, partners and collaborates effectively with all stakeholders though the Recruitment process

  • Results and performance and performance driven - makes high level of contribution to Recruitment activities, able to work to deadlines and manage priorities

  • Operational excellence in recruiting processes and systems.

  • Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of regulatory environment i.e. immigration/discrimination, Recruitment policy knowledge, employment legislation

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of the businesses in which Perspecta competes for talent

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting initiatives that are critical to talent acquisition and the associated compliance requirements. In partnership with the recruiting and program operations staff, this role will support company-wide college recruiting efforts, interview scheduling, as well as administrative data management and compliance related tasks. Job Responsibilities: Working with recruiters to provide support around candidate, hiring manager, and requisition management. Assist with OFCCP, AAP and EEO compliance, tracking and reporting. Data entry into applicant tracking system, Taleo. Track and maintain records on outreach activity. Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleges and universities. Lead the logistics coordination for all campus events. Responsible for maintaining and updating all campus job postings. Assist with review resumes against job postings. Liaising with other departments including Security, HR, and Operations to ensure all requirements are met as expeditiously as possible Required to manage multiple time sensitive tasks with little guidance Ability to handle confidential information appropriately Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word; SharePoint skills are a plus Implement campus recruitment strategy at strategic institutions Coordinate campus recruiting calendar and serve as primary point person for campus events Assist in the individualize marketing efforts for unique student populations Analyze campus recruiting results, trends or issues Continuous engagement with previous interns for returning opportunities for both internships and full time roles Required: Bachelor’s degree with some experience supporting business activities in an office setting. Experience scheduling meetings through Outlook. Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. History of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance expectations Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Preferred: Experience in a recruiting environment with an emphasis on exceptional client service. Experience managing OFCCP, AAP, EEO and other related compliance requirements Experience with an applicant tracking system (Taleo preferred).
