Job Description:

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter within the Americas Talent Acquisition Team will play a key role in running searches from kick-off to placement for our Executive Search business. This team member will have ownership and accountability for the full recruitment process from developing talent pools and candidate pipelines to addressing critical hiring needs by direct sourcing of non-applicant profiles, reviewing of applicants within systems, and administration of the internal Employee Referral Program. This individual will be the Lead Recruiter in identifying and presenting candidates that match the criteria for open requisitions.

As the right person masters this role, s/he will be responsible for leveraging and expanding employer brand awareness, candidate and talent community engagement, and establishing Heidrick & Struggles as the premier employer for top talent.

The successful individual will be responsible for interacting and establishing relationships with operational functions, candidates and other influencers of the recruitment process. Internally, the TA Recruiter will be a subject matter expert of the talent acquisition process chain and a trusted resource to the broader HR team. A strong desire to partner with other team members and drive success across the company, as well as deliver strong results for clients is critical.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience (or relevant internship) in corporate recruitment and/or market research environment

  • Undergraduate degree required

  • Strong research skills; experience with data mining, name generation, Boolean searches and previous experience with LinkedIn Recruiter highly preferred

  • Experience identifying trends and researching information effectively through various channels

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to effectively prioritize projects and deliverables

  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel and Word required

  • Demonstrable initiative, resourcefulness, self-management and personal accountability

  • Dedication to teamwork and desire to contribute in a highly collaborative environment

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to running individual searches, the role also includes the following responsibilities:

  • Own the weekly recruiting report putting together the document and updating the document on a regular basis

  • Own the running of weekly recruiting meetings talking through details and status of all requisitions

  • Detection of potential problems & issues being intimately aware of what each person on the team is working on and the status of the search, aware of all open requisitions and aware of any potential issues related to requisitions. Responsible for flagging issues with VP of TA to work through them

  • Taking the lead wherever there might be a new vacancy having these on the radar and is responsible for flagging these with the appropriate HRBP being the liaison with the partner with the vacancy as well and explaining process to them

  • Managing open requisitions in Workday, to ensure things are open & closed properly, and all details are accurate

  • Back-up on campus recruiting initiatives helping out on campus recruiting as necessary

This position is responsible for recruiting in multiple segments (audit, tax, consulting, technologies) for multiple office locations. * Manage full-cycle recruiting process for assigned requisitions and overall firm hiring needs including the facilitation of recruitment and selection strategies, practices, and processes to ensure talent pools, candidate generation, and hiring decisions achieve workforce needs and staffing expectations. * Work collaboratively with the hiring managers and the HR team to understand business objectives and candidate requirements for open positions. * Proactively identify, qualify and recruit passive candidates, using innovative sourcing strategies, cold calling, social media and networking tools. * Screen resumes, conduct interviews and refer qualified candidates to open requisitions and potential opportunity hires. * Ensure a positive hiring manager and candidate experience throughout the hiring process serving as the primary point of contact through the hire date. * Coordinate interview process with applicable office personnel. * Deliver a solid professional presence on social media sites, at networking and/or recruiting events, and across the firm by representing and promoting BKD's values and principles. * Prepare, manage and utilize ATS resources (iCIMS) for recruiting data and metrics, to track and report on recruiting data, drive key decisions, and ensure compliance with OFCCP and other relevant regulations. Qualifications * Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and openness to engage with people. * High degree of initiative with the ability to think proactively and problem-solve. * Excellent project management, decision-making, organizational, and written communication skills. * Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications and email. * Ability to confidently and comfortably make cold contacts for proactive sourcing. * Ability to engage in and build relationships with firm personnel in a variety of office locations, talent communities, passive and active candidates, in-person and phone networking. * Knowledge of laws and practices applicable to recruiting and hiring including learning firm policies, procedures, and best practices. * Three years recruiting experience including two years corporate recruiting experience preferred * CPA firm, professional services, engineering services, health-care software, health-care services, or recruiting experience working with experienced professionals preferred Experience the BKD difference for yourself.
