As the Talent Acquisition and People Ops Manager at CompStak, you'll be responsible for strategically working with both leadership and individual contributors across the company in hiring and HR matters. You'll build relationships internally, advocating for our employees' needs and aligning initiatives with our business goals. We're looking for someone who is passionate about finding and retaining talent; will proactively identify new opportunities to build a diverse, inclusive, and equitable culture; implement change effectively; and support the business as it grows.

Responsibilities

  • Own all recruiting efforts, including candidate sourcing, managing Lever ATS, managing candidates through interview processes, Talent Branding, and collaborating with hiring managers to build interview processes and job descriptions

  • Develop a network through industry contacts, associations and hiring executives to help identify and source qualified leaders

  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for all corporate employees which include making recommendations and process changes to scale this process

  • Provide advice and coaching to all employees on all employee-related issues such as performance management, documentation, career development, employee relations and policies, and procedures

  • Lead human resources management with support from CEO, CTO, and VP of Ops including activities updating the employee handbook with relevant HR needs, helping with employee matters such as PIPs and conflict resolution

  • Define and roll out a company-wide recurring training on hiring

  • Collaborate with VP of Ops to administer employee initiatives around engagement, retention, career pathing, training, and development for all employees at CompStak

  • Compliance and follow up with company-wide Performance Management Process

  • Help with company benefit selection and compensation alignment

  • Development and reporting of diversity initiatives and a trusted advisor for CompStak DEI Committee

Skills & Qualifications

  • You have been working in an HR capacity for a minimum of 3+ years

  • You have a minimum of 5+ years experience recruiting in in a fast-paced environment

  • You're highly organized, meticulous about detail and accuracy and get excited about process improvement

  • You have a strong ability to independently make well-informed decisions and maintain the highest level of confidentiality

  • Knowledge of multi-state employment laws and regulations

  • You are constantly seeking to improve yourself, your team, and the world around you

  • You are a scrappy and resourceful problem solver and can adjust to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • You hold a BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience

Job description Lead the delivery of Talent Acquisition strategic initiatives and programs with the goal of enabling our Talent Acquisition team to grow our company, in the right way. The Strategic Initiatives and Program leader is responsible for ensuring that Talent Acquisition programs and projects are holistically planned, establishing visibility into progress, and managing coordination of cross-team resources required to create the proper mix of talent, resources, and environment for successful program/project delivery. Working closely with key strategic partners across Talent Acquisitions, People team, and Business stakeholders, you will define and drive strategic initiatives and operational and organizational improvements across the Talent Acquisition teams with the goal of enabling our Talent Acquisition team to grow our company, in the right way. As leader of the Strategic Initiatives and Programs team, you will: * Work at the intersection of strategy, program management, technology implementation and process innovation by overseeing a portfolio of recruiting strategic initiatives and programs across of 4 key pillars of work: hiring process scalability and innovation, hiring diversification, candidate experience and hiring intelligence & insights. * Drive the annual strategic initiatives planning process, as well as monthly and quarterly leadership updates. * Establish and maintain standards and frameworks to drive cross functional alignment and clarity on ways of working. * Collaborate and influence key cross functional stakeholders to ensure goals are met. * Act as the point of escalation across the Strategic Initiatives and Programs team including prioritizing, resourcing, managing expectations to ensure roadmaps are delivered against and driven to execution. * Lead design and implementation of complex TA projects/programs bringing focus to structured program management and delivery and measurement of intended results. * Implement programmatic delivery of our strategic projects/programs while ensuring that we are capitalizing on the right technology solutions to drive innovative solutions for the greatest impact. Qualifications * 8+ years experience leading project management, portfolio management, process. improvement strategy, with 5+years of recruiting experience. * 4+ years of people management experience, willing to be a coach and inspire team. * Demonstrated program management skills, including strategy development, implementation, execution and analysis of impact. * Deep understand of the recruiting lifecycle and process and how to best optimize for effectiveness and efficiency. * Demonstrated experience collaborating with and influence cross-functional teams. * Experience leading and growing teams from strategy through to operational execution but also a willingness to jump in personally to do the work. * Experience in organizations that have undergone significant growth, change, and/or international expansion * Open to travel periodically (post COVID-19) Additional information We love what we do.
