The Talent Acquisition Manager will manage the full cycle of Momofuku's recruiting process. This role will work alongside the Human Resources team, Operations department and Executive Leadership in developing and implementing recruitment and staffing strategies for new and existing restaurants and Momofuku's home office. S/he will also work with hiring managers to maximize efficiency in filling open positions in the corporate office and within restaurants.


  • In partnership with the Human Resources team, enhance, manage and execute company-wide talent acquisition strategies to meet Momofuku's high-growth people needs for Restaurant and Office positions.

  • Create and/or improve and execute policies, procedures and tools for effective and seamless candidate sourcing, recruiting, selection, hiring, onboarding and candidate experience.

  • Create and/or improve recruiting tools, processes and training for Field and Home Base. Serve as Subject Matter Expert for related training.

  • In partnership with Hiring Managers, manage all job postings on the careers site and third party websites; monitor requisitions for applicant flow and take action to drive traffic where necessary.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to Hiring Managers on sourcing, recruiting, selecting and retaining a diverse and talented workforce.

  • Ensure Talent Acquisition compliance with federal, state and local requirements.

  • In partnership with Human Resource and Operations Leadership monitor company-wide staffing levels and collaborate on retention strategies.

  • In collaboration with the Human Resources, Operations and Brand teams, strive to continually enhance Momofuku's Employment Brand to create candidate awareness and engagement that attracts a talented, diverse candidate pool. Identify new recruiting trends, including social media, to further improve sourcing capabilities and candidate engagement.

  • Manage and improve Momofuku's existing Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • In partnership with Human Resources Leadership, create and maintain an annual recruitment budget; negotiate with vendors and manage overall recruiting costs throughout the year. Analyze and implement the most cost-effective recruiting methods to lower cost per hire.

  • In partnership with opening Task Force teams, work collaboratively to create a strategic staffing plan for all new restaurant openings including budgets, pars and scheduling open calls.

  • Provide timely and accurate reporting, metrics and communication of hiring goals and progress.

  • Partner with external vendors to explore new trends in recruitment and candidate engagement.

  • Participate in employment recruiting events, such as career fairs for the Dept of Labor and culinary schools; actively drive placement of externs and applicants from events.

Skills & Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or Recruitment

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or a related field

  • Experience in recruiting and staffing in the Hospitality, Restaurant and/or Hotel industry strongly preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and to personally recruit across all departments at all levels.

  • Experience in a multi-unit, multi-state environment. Ideally in the restaurant, hospitality or retail industries.

  • Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing strategies, while having the ability to execute and deliver results.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, high-growth environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to interact with all levels of a company.

  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of time and more on as the business dictates.

  • Conversational Spanish Language ability highly preferred. Native or Fluent a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Google Suite, and HRIS/ATS software preferred

  • Experience utilizing Ultipro Recruiting and HRIS platform a plus

  • SHRM-CP/PHR Certification a plus

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. REQUIREMENTS * 5 years of experience in a full cycle recruiting capacity. * Experience with Applicant Tracking System/s * Demonstrated knowledge of strategic sourcing strategies including direct sourcing, selection techniques and diversity recruiting. * Must have solid knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to hiring practices. * Experience in (or an affinity for) digital or social. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Ad Agency background required.
