Talent Acquisition Manager Contractor duties:

  • work closely with Recruiters, hiring teams and candidates during the interview, hiring and on-boarding process.
  • Participate in departmental project work focused on delivering optional efficiencies and innovations to drive the Talent Acquisition Operation function forward
  • Provide interview team members with appropriate materials to effectively interview and manage candidates while onsite
  • Collect and audit all pre-interview paperwork prior to interviews
  • Create and maintain an interview schedule log ensuring all interviews are efficiently tracked
  • Act as back-up to peers across the Talent Acquisition team

The ideal candidate will: * Be responsible for aligning the TA strategy with the overarching business objectives * Serve as a cultural ambassador for the organization and department * Act as the talent strategist for the business and leverage internal and external data to inform decisions * Bring subject matter expertise/provide counsel to business and HR representatives on labor market conditions, talent supply, prevailing compensation trends and associated analytics to guide talent-related decisions * Communicate and champion the talent acquisition strategy, ensuring that the talent acquisition function is effectively meeting talent demands, best in class talent acquisition organization and easy to do business with * Develop talent strategy and plans (including staffing plans) for the business by leveraging data * Act as a key point person by develops ongoing relationships with the HRBPs and Senior Business Leaders * Closely interface with senior business leaders to resolve strategic issues and develop / deliver talent plans * Understand the strategy of the business as it relates to talent demands * Prepare talent acquisition operational teams, especially leadership recruiting, for intake discussions with relevant data and talking points * Support growth hiring through developing sourcing strategies and analyzing labor markets alongside the talent acquisition programs and operational teams * Communicate findings to talent acquisition leadership in support of continuous improvement to talent acquisition strategies * Support talent acquisition leadership in creating talent acquisition performance KPIs / SLAs and adjusting strategies * Provide guidance to talent acquisition leadership to focus the service delivery model * Stay abreast of labor market conditions, including talent supply and skills demand * Ensure all departmental artefacts (job summaries / descriptions, policies, standard operating procedures, job aids, process maps, etc.) are kept current and accurate by being aware of the changing nature of work KEY SUCCESS INDICATORS * Industry, market, and business knowledge application such that recruiters are both better prepared to align business objectives in searches and superior talent is place * Solution approach appropriateness and delivery * Responsiveness to customers * Facilitating collaboration among stakeholders * Drives end-to-end execution of talent strategy PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION * Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of business experience in HR or related field, ideally in healthcare or similar highly regulated vertical preferred (Master's, professional HR/TA certifications preferred) * Demonstrated superior oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Experience influencing teams and executing projects in a large organization required * Experience creating talent acquisition strategies related such as strategic sourcing, diversity initiatives, etc. required * Experience interpreting data to make decisions and researching labor market statistics required * In-depth knowledge of the talent acquisition landscape in health insurance industry preferred * Strategic thinking and demonstrated organizational capabilities required * Key skills include analytical ability, innovation and creativity, teamwork and communications * Ability to successfully interface at all levels with the customer, industry, and corporate interfaces * Microsoft Office proficiency Travel Limited travel is expected for this position (less than 15%).
